Is edge of night bad on pantheon

Here's why I think edge of night doesn't work on pantheon. You can't charging it when you ult and doing it in advance cancels it. The ult also cancels it. The ult is also on a delay so even if you do ult after the Chanel, it doesn't do much because it's likely gone by the time you dive. I can see it on wukong where he uses it and immediately dashes in when the channel is complete. This wouldn't be much of a problem if riot didn't nerf it but I can see why. You're unkiteable for 10 seconds. That's a long ass time. There's no counterplay to it. If your already with your team, you can make it work. The problem is you can't ult with edge of night active. Should I not build it or use it differently where I rely on the w for it.

You can't use the ult during edge of night active but you can use edge of night active before you ult. You can mandrop on the enemy team and any CC that pops out the instant you land will be blocked.

The only problem is you lose half the time because the ult channel riot probably won't change this because they won't allow pantheon to be op. The reason he's a top teir solo queue pick is because the meta is lethality. That's the same reason I use wukong. Whenever pantheon gets a buff, he gets too strong and riot has to revert the changes. He's feast or famine to the extreme. He's also riots eternal whipping boy.
