How You Get The S

(Disclaimer: I have used several sources as a guide, also I have played many matches according to the gameplay behavior describe in those sources, but here is my understanding/relay of the information).

I heard there was some confusion about the S grades (S-, S, and S+). But, I hope this helps clear up that confusion.

S grades are the hardest to achieve in League, however, I think I may have figured it out. I will display a factor and the percentage and explanation about it.

K/D/A - Give or take it only affects the grade by about 5%. I will explain this more in depth in a second, but here are the gimmes. K/D/A does help determine your basic grade so probably the minus part in the grade.

Items/Gold: The amount this affects is probably only 20% of the grade (gold and items combined). The more items/gold you acquire leads to a higher grade. The more gold/items gained means you are looking at an A or and S grade (lower if you only get about 3 or 2 items).

Role: The role you play is about 15%. Jg have a 5% of an S just because their role is too hard and they aren't targeting champs or minions. Supports and Laners have it easier, but not by much. The thing about kills will be my last point (in Time).

Jungle Creatures/Minions/Wards/Towers: These are probably 10% of the grade. You need to be slaying the barons, rift heralds, and dragons. Also, the amount of wards you place down have an effect, but it is small. You also need to get the tower kills.

Time: The amount of time is the critical part. You have these many kills at this time or more kills. Say you need 100 minions by 15 minutes to get the A, but you have 200. That means you are looking at an S grade. Also, the amount of K/D/A don't matter if your time is above 40 minutes. They matter but not that much. Everything ties in with time (50% of the grade). If you are doing a great job (and you did what I listed) you are looking at an S or S- grade. However, you are doing all of this times 2 then you are probably getting an S+.

Also, I amjust curious. But, how many people have gotten some sort of an S grade? Feel free to comment or use the poll.

*additional info: the best mode to play to get the S is ARAM. All that matters then is gold/items/time/and K/D/A. However, ARAM is RANDOM. So, it is very inconvenient if you are trying to the S for one character but you keep getting a different character. I recommend asking people to trade up.
