New Rift Herald Is Gonna Need Some Balance Changes........Again

It seems like Riot just doesn't know what to do with the rift herald.

I mean they have been trying to stop snowballing for like 2 years now at best, even some XP changes to help you catch back up with someone ahead of you. However, here comes the rift herald, a monster that takes a turret nearly to 50%.

A team that gets a slight advantage and is able to get this is going to snowball more so. Of course a turret down is going to let that laner, or laners (if bot) roam. Makes the laners even more vulnerable to ganks.

So the snowball potential is crazy. Thank you Riot for making games much more shorter with this.

Well i think the most worrying ones to have get rift herald are mid and top, bot lane doesn't have access to it as easily so you'll most likely(in solo que) see the mid or top laner use it to take their turret then start roaming, also it doesn't last that long in the inventory so might not have to worry to much about them placing it bot lane but it might happen, we'll just have to see.

May not last long, but it is there to do its job. It's not like you can kill it easy before it super charges and rams the turret for about 50% of it's HP.

Well it actually will only deal damage equal to its own HP(not exactly it's a percentage) but basically if your team can form up fast enough and deal enough damage to it probably won't be able to take the tower unless it was already really low.

The Rift Herald has many problems.

First of all it's not easy warding it properly by anyone else other than the jungler. Top and Mid laners either put themselves in danger by trying to ward or straight up open themselves to having their lanes shoved and losing out on cs and exp, which will then turn to losing the lane. So once again Riot has implemented something that makes sure that if you get the bad jungler, you lose out on a lot. As if the meta wasn't jungler biased already.

And to top it off, it can still be done with 2 people, although its power got increased quite a lot. If you ask me it should need at least 3.

Soloable at level 9. Even Soraka can solo it. Watch Redmercy's video. Yeah takes awhile, but for a good jungler, would be fast and swift.
