I think I've finally figured out the difference between a Bronze and Gold player.

It's their mind and decision making. Bronze and gold players don't actually have too different mechanics. I've played against golds with bad mechanics and Bronzes with good mechanics, the problem is, to put it bluntly, Bronze players are just dumber than everyone else. In my experience they rarely adjust builds, picks, or playstyle in response to enemy teams. I've seen people build spirit visages against full AD teams, full AD top laners who are 0/9 but refuse to go tank, and people that intentionally pick into counters and then scream "OP" and "Rito can't balance". Bronze also used to be the "never get drag" elo, now it's the "always get drag even if it's a stupid time elo". The other thing is, for some reason, bronze players don't group push. After every team fight they split up and shove different lanes or farm instead of taking a tower or inhib. On top of that I constantly see Bronze laners who I've killed 3 times try to duel me anyway because they're playing a so called "OP champion" and think that they are still strong even when 3 kills and 40 cs behind. It's like Bronze players just lack the skills of comprehension and individual thinking. They hear LCS casters talk about how good dragon is, so they always (ALWAYS) go for the dragon even if it's not worth. For the most part Bronze players seem to lack the skill of independent thinking and just follow guides and builds to the letter. So, for all those bronze players out there (including me) mechanics are good, but they won't get you anywhere if you can't think strategically when playing. The most important thing we bronze players need to do is THINK, not master zed combos or learn how to stutter step (those are really important though) but first we need to practice thinking for ourselves in game. Second guess your decisions: Is that dragon worth? Should you go for the inhib instead? Should we really go for drag when their jungler and 2 others are up? And most of all, please remember this, PUSH OBJECTIVES AS 5 PEOPLE AFTER WINNING A FIGHT. Don't farm jungle, don't got to seperately push all 3 lanes, push as 5 for that tower/inhib. Now ofc if you have a splitpusher let them splitpush, but everyone else needs to work as a group of 4 in that case. Ok, rant over.

My Ranked experience so far:

My teams Xin Zhao can't get his Sated Devourer before the 35 minute mark. Fizz doesn't need to build Lich Bane, because they follow a "Diamond Build". Supports don't even know that there exists a Sightstone. Graves seems to be THE counterpick as adc, when the opposing team picked Vayne. Everyone wants a team of tanks, but no one wants to play as one. If you lost a fight 3 times in the same way, try again! It might work now! When there's a Soraka on the opposing team, don't care about her, "she has no damage".
