Why is the entire League community just full of jerks?

So i log on and i want to play a Jhin game. I get in queue and I'm second pick. I hover Jhin, so does second to last pick. What does he do? He bans Jhin. I ask him why and he says because i wanted to play him, so he banned him. Seriously I don't what is wrong with people these days. So many members in this community find it somehow fun to do everything in their power to make sure nobody else enjoys the game.

NEVER indicate who you want to pick

GIFT

It happens occasionally, though I've rarely personally run into it and I play enough champions that it doesn't actually affect me.

Lmao. 2 things. Not everyone is jerks in lol, but there is enough. To many. And as of late it has been happening to me also. I have top pick in our group and last couple days my pre pick is banned. I ask why you would ban my pick and once got a answer otherwise they won answer. The one reply was you don't need to play that champ. I am frustrated now. But nothing you can do. It doesn't mean I will take that champ, it is a pre selection. I plan on it but need to see the bans and think quickly if I should keep or select another champ. I don't know why this started.

There has always been plenty of these players, you simply haven't run into them often enough before. They aren't here to win the game - heck, they aren't here to play the game. Their sole purpose here is to watch others suffer and feast on their reactions, and - trust me - your case isn't anywhere near the worst it can get.

I agree with their decision and do the same thing to many prospective Jhin players. It's called preventing an auto loss.

I've run into these kind of people, but not very often.

Now, I will say, just to play the Devil's advocate, most Jhin mains tend to be narcissistic, self-absorbed jerks, so that could be why said person banned the champion. Most likely not, though.

It's a small minority... Unfortunately, they make a gross and lasting impression. I will go many days without a troll, jerk or afker in my games.. And then... there is that ONE guy....
