On the Quest for the Perfect Music for the League Experience.

So, while the in game music in league is good and all it's not exactly my favorite, probably no even close to my favorite in game music actually. In all honesty I am an INCREDIBLE fan of Riots other music, such as log-in screens and their other songs like the ammumu one, but the in game music just doesn't cut it. So, i decided to find music that I personally thought this game better, and I've found it: Two Steps from Hell and Audiomachine. For those of you that don't know what these groups are they are production music music companies that compose and perform their own music, and it's orchestral music. Now the thing I like about it is the music has a sort of epic fantasy feel to it, a feel that goes just right with League of Legends. For one it improves my play and for another the amazing music just fits so well into the backdrop of an Epic Fantasy Universe. It really helps me get into the game and what I'm doing, and even sometimes makes me imagine great battles, scenes, or even areas from league's old lore. This music is just perfect for this type of game in my opinion.

Now i have two questions for all of you that read this:

  1. What do you think of this style of music and these two groups (Two Steps from Hell and Audiomachine) when playing league?

  2. If you prefer other music when playing, what music do you listen to to get in the mood or help set the scene of the League of Legends in your mind?

Oh and both groups are on Spotify.

I listen to power metal when playing league... or doing anything else. It makes you pumped up, or calms you depending on the song.

I usually listen to a lot of Nujabes and DJ Okawari, I prefer not having vocals in my music during a league match ^.^

Whatever the randomizer comes up with (anything and everything), although if I really want to get into it, I queue up the "Soundtrack4Game" playlist with various soundtrack-type tracks.
