If cait's traps just triggered on minions, she would be fine. The fact that they don't is what really breaks them.

The fact they dont is what makes her playable. She was borderline unplayable back when they did. Her traps arnt hard to walk around. I play her and play against her alot. Shes only strong against people who sont know her secrets.

I've actually played her a bit in bots during her free rotate and i can say i can feel the clunkiness she now has early on that a player who is not used to her pacing now can end up getting cocky and overextending into risky actions (such as 'not' saving Q for a finish up move to kill a enemy and instead wasting it to rush wave clear).

I can't really say she has a direct counter but more that because likely said counter is probably not a normal enough pick to use commonly so she can lead into a new ADC main stream as the burst power ADC scummers get dropped down to make way for 'simple' sustain(Ashe for example) or semi-burst(which Caitlyn is just that, she has to set up all her burst and can't pop it on the fly) champions to feel proper again. Granted, Xayah isn't falling off any time soon i believe unless she gets a hard nerf, but i still feel like she isn't over powered, just strong against half-minded players or current all-in'ish type ADC picks).

Yasuo clearly needs more nerfs and if riot doesn't realize by 7.15 or so that the high rate of Yasuo Bans in normal mode aren't showing it, then clearly they are more blind then a LeeSin who got an overdose on Teemo's Q after it got super charged with some really trippy drugs. Its pretty obvious i mean that any champion who does not have a 'upper limit' on how many mechanics they can have, then they end up either as insanely retarded flexible scum with 'tank builds' even as a assassin or fighter and have a move that negates the majority of abilities in the game on most champions(aka 'projectiles).

You do know that would give them a reason to buff Cait's traps then to compensate right?

Ok, dude let me explain something to you. Yasuo is not broken. Yasuo does damage is mobile. That's it. Because 70% of the community is in silver/bronze and has 0 idea how to play vs Yasuo. They just ban him or pick a champ that he shits on and then proceed to complain about how broken he is that he can kill them and they can't do anything. The problem is that most of the community refuses to learn how to play vs Yasuo and even better, they don't pick champs that shit on him. Banning a champion doesn't help you learn how to play vs them. It just prolongs the problem for another game. I can play champions that Yasuo shit on normally and I can win because know how to counter him. I mean, its really not that hard people, you bait out his windfall and then you just cc him and kill him. It's that easy, you people just don't wanna learn how to play vs him. You just wanna throw the problem in the closet for another day and not deal with it. Nerfing him won't fix anything. When he's gone there will just be another one after that, that you just won't learn how to play and then you will just feed every time he is on the other team and then bitch about it on Reddit or the forums till riot nerfs him.

Now to address the other problems people have with Yasuo. The good old "he feeds when he is on my team but when he is on the other team he pops off like a god. He is such a useless champ." Well, you wanna know why that "Yasuo Syndrom" is such a problem to you? Because everyone tends to remember the 0-12 Yasuo on their team who just feeds, flames, and generally does nothing for 20-30 min. But never seems to remember that Yasuo that pops off and carries your ass to victory when you didn't do so hot in lane. This is because we tend to remember the bad things more vividly than we do the good ones. This is because we are stuck with that asshat for 20-30min and no real way to deal with him aside from muting him and trying to move on with our lives and win the game. Yasuo stands out more than others because of a few reasons. For one, he is a very popular champion and loved by most. So he is naturally played more. But, he also has a very high skill cap in order to play him properly. A lot of players play a few games of him in norms and then go into ranked thinking they know what they are doing and then feeding because, in reality, they don't really know how to play the champion. In so doing this, when they lose lane or fuck something up they flame there jg or whoever was involved in that play on your team because they think that they know what they are doing and so what you did was wrong because it didn't go well. His popularity and skill required to do well on him make him played in a lot of games, however, his difficulty often makes most players who don't main him feed because they don't truly understand how to play him.
