Looking at his win rate, Kog'Maw appears to be in a pretty health spot right now, despite some pretty big changes (aka nerfs) that happened recently. He can't go full attack speed like he used to, but let's not forget that even without a ton of attack speed kog maw still has a lot of range and armor shred. And with some slight changes to his build he seems to be doing well in the current meta.
TLDR don't buff Kog'Maw. He's in a good spot.

Rebonack1 votesKog has a 1% pick rate. Typically when a champ has a high win rate paired with a super low pick rate, that means they're either being played only by mains or being used as a counter-pick. That is, of course, assuming that they aren't utterly terrible.
In short, Kog's win rate is likely inflated by his super low play rate. So he's not bad, but he isn't terribly desirable, either. He still needs an actual niche to fill for his team beyond 'does lots of damage'. Focusing him as THE damage amp Marksmen would fit really well with the identity Riot keeps saying they want Kog to fill. If that means Kog would have to have his stat-check button nerfed a bit, I would be totally okay with it.
