Champion Mastery 8-10: Ideas
So soon there's gonna be a good bit of Champion Mastery 7s out there and they, of course, will be wanting to go further to show their dedication to their champion (me included). So, Champion Mastery 8-10 should be coming out soon! We want some stuff that will REALLY make people show off their champions! So, here are the absurd requirements I came up with for each:
Champion Mastery 8 Requirements Upon reaching Champion Mastery 7, you unlock a "score sheet" for unlocking Mastery 8 for that champion. This is the checklist that will be listed on that score sheet to track your progress towards Mastery 8. The progress for this starts when you reach Mastery 7/when Mastery 8-10 goes live.
- Play 50 games as the champion
- Score 5 rankings of at least S- as the champion
- Win 3 games in a row as the champion (games where the champion is banned do not count)
- Craft a Mastery 8 Token once all other requirements are met with 500 Blue Essence/Permanent/Shard
Champion Mastery 8 Rewards
- Green Banner
- Champion Icon for Account Icon (ex.
)
Champion Mastery 9 Requirements After acquiring Mastery 8, the score sheet is reset and you begin progress on this one.
- Play 75 games as the champion
- Score 8 rankings of at least S- as the champion
- Win 4 games in a row as the champion (games where the champion is banned do not count)
- Craft a Mastery 9 Token once all other requirements are met with 500 Blue Essence/Permanent/Shard
Champion Mastery 9 Rewards
- Orange Banner
- Special Club with Other Users of Mastery 9 of the Champion is Opened to the User
- Is labeled as a Master of ______ below their loading screen border (same visibility as Mastery Banners, visible to allies not enemy)
Champion Mastery 10 Requirements A place reserved only for the mentally insane that have mastered their champion inside and out. Deserve respect when playing with and against them for the insane grind they have gone through to acquire such a prestige status. Meant to be a sign of prestige that only those 200% dedicated to their champion are able to have.
- Win 125 games as the champion
- Score 15 rankings of at least S as the champion
- Win 6 games in a row as the champion (games where the champion is banned do not count)
- Acquire every skin and chroma for the champion (mastery will not lost if future skins/chromas are made)
- Perform an achievement specific to the champion (ex. : In games where you won, put a total of 400 targets into stasis)
- Craft a Mastery 10 Token once all other requirements are met with 1000 Blue Essence/2 Permanents/2 Shards
Champion Mastery 10 Rewards
- Grand Yellow Banner
- Is labeled as a Grandmaster of _______ below their loading screen border for all to see during the loading screen (enemy vision of this can be toggled on and off)
- Loading screen border specific to the champion
- Special in-client profile theme for said champion (if you have multiple Mastery 10s (good lord) you can cycle through them)
- ??? (More ideas below)
What do you guys think? I think it would be really cool if people like Malicious Metal and such could really show their dedication to their champions by getting some sweet loot and could really show it off!
