Why are CC Chains allowed?

Don't tell me it's about positioning when there is CC that is point to click and then the rest of them just CC chain you before that first CC even ends.

It's actually a fairly decent amount. Blitzcrank Amumu Fiddlesticks Hecarim Irelia Kennen LeeSin Lissandra Lulu Maokai Nasus Pantheon Quinn Rammus Renekton Ryze Singed Udyr Vi MonkeyKing XinZhao Zilean All the champions in game who have point and click or fairly unwhiffable pbaoe cc. 7 of which are tied to ultimates.

Also, I'm not trying to imply in anyway cc chains are a problem. Just noting the amount of point and click or "unmissable" CC in the game.

I actually forgot about those tbh XD, although I wouldn't count Vayne for the same reason I didn't count Poppy, since their stuns are conditional. I put WK on the list because his ult is falls under the "umissable" category. Umissable in quotes meaning, while it can be whiffed, it's still pretty hard unless you go out of your way to miss it. Especially since Wu can just E to someone before using it.

For Rakan though, unless you're referring to his R, his W has quite a decent delay on the actual knock up. Otherwise his ult is the sane thing as Wu's.

not sure why wukong is on the list, might as well put Rakan in there as well since he has no counterplay

Rakan is countered by tanks (Taric, Thresh, Leona, Blitzcrank, Nautilus). He can slightly fare well against Braum, and Tahm.

Rakan is incredibly squishy and blows up easily.

He has skill shots.

Properly chaining CC rewards effective teamwork, which isn't really a thing outside of competitive, where there isn't really an issue with cc chaining anyway for a variety of reasons.

Cleanse/qss or a teammate with mikeals can all stop the initial cc so you can then reposition, and if you're caught out by multiple enemy champions looking to cc you without your team around to take advantage of the enemy cc being used on a single target then that's a more macro positioning issue to begin with. Single champions able to chain cc (e.g. leona) tend to lack serious threat by themselves as a trade off for all their cc.

Since point and click CC tend to be low range, good positioning would be the preferred method of not getting CC chained.

well i see your point but it really does have to be this way because of those champs i mentioned i cant imagine a game where master yi and yasuo get to run free and nuke everyone because they cant hit them with cc when yi can vanish at the click of a button

So when your team catches somebody they don't escape.

point and click cc needs to exist to help with all the fukin mobility creep in the game and all the champs that have escapes /dashes

There should be a maximum limit to the duration for any individual CC. 2 secs maybe, 3 for stronger effects like Malz and Morg.
