^ that shit should NOT be allowed PERIOD on a champion that can build 7k+ HP. lets throw in a certain champion called Chogath and add 2k INSTANT true dmg to that mix and it just becomes unfair and stupid. Its actually ridiculous that a full tank building zero dmg items is capable of doing 2.4k dmg just from one fucking attack. why is it unfair? because assassins STRUGGLE to get that much damage output because of the idiotic delays riot put on over half of them and they are glass canons. lets also throw in the fact that tanks also have CC or silences on top of it all. "but oh, chogath isnt a tank! he is a juggernaut!" no lets stop the BS classifications. idc if you're a "vanguard" or a "juggernaut" any champion that can build upwards of 4k-8k+ HP and stack resistances is a TANK or at the very least building to be very tanky.

this tank favoritism has got to end. its not fair to all of the assassins that have been HAMMERED and BUTCHERED by nerfs nor is it fair to fighters who struggle to stay relevant at all because they are stuck between tanky skirmisher, and juggernaut.

thats one tank, all tanks have a problem with cho. the problems are with adc's and supports right now

Aside from fringe cases like Cho, a typical tank if they build full tank will have around 4k hp. Not to mention that almost every adc in the late game will 3-4 shot a tank.

What I find more unbalanced is life steal in general and how it makes certain champions borderline unkillable. (Fiora)

Back to the topic at hand though, the more damage oriented tanks or juggernauts, tend to have no form of engage other than flash if it is up. Assassins on the otherhand usually have engage and escape(s) built into their kit so they can jump in, get a kill, and jump out before anyone can react. But a tank does not have that, once a tank goes in one someone, they're in.

This is blatantly not true

@thread Great hyperbole here!

50 grasp procs is actually a ton - in a general game youre maybe going to get 100150 health off grasp (2030 procs). As for cho... Hes a raid boss. Hes meant to get very strong and he isnt capable of hitting for 2K on his ult anymore without obscene investment - stoneplate was nerfed in that regard.

Cho'Gath strays far away enough from actual tanks to be listed as a unique playstyle. Don't blame a class for Cho'Gath.

^ This. Chogath falls under the "raid boss" class - the infinite scaling champions with actual decent scaling. Sion would be a raid boss if his w gave him more health too. As he is now, hes a lot more like a.... miniboss.

Riot really needs to make raid bosses an actual class of champion so that people stop blanket blaming other classes of champions...

You don't get 2.4K from one attack, it's the total of all damage inflicted from all Grasp procs over the whole game...
