So Akali looks like she's losing her obscurity on her shroud. Why is no one talking about this?

Full Changes to W: Cooldown changed from 25/22/19/16/13 to 25 [New] Cooldown starts on cast rather than after Shroud expiration Energy restore changed from 40/50/60/70/80 to 80 [Removed] duration extension Stealth type changed from obscurity to invisibility

Are people really not noticing probably one of the bigger changes to Akali right now? I mean, this was suppose to be the very unique thing about her shroud as opposed to the other two stealth options in the game and Riot was putting a lot of emphasis on it.

But let me be also clear: I'M NOT UPSET THAT IT'S GOING! If anything, it was the most annoying thing about. Having her tower dive you while your tower just stood there and did nothing as she melded back into her safety cloud blanket (when it was still a thing) was DUMB! Having her not be revealed in anyway through this shroud is DUMB! It's just what makes her frustrating to play against.

And this now has to make me raise the question: is the Akali rework now just a complete flop? I mean, Akali has been nerfed how many times since the rework? They're now streamlining her W to make it more fair to play against with True Sight, but even if it's now less annoying (again not saying I'm upset with this change), doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the reworks intent?

At this point, I'd still consider her a ryze-tier needs another rework champ. I think this is a sign that riot's running out of things to nerf on her. I think that CT tried his best to keep her gameplay as close to the original as possible, but she really wasn't a champ that could be safely modernized; she had to either keep her old problematic form as it was or needed something completely new.

I say riot should have her go back to Shen, apologize for leaving, bring back to the old ponytail, and give her a new kit.

One can hope. Still, seeing a 44% winrate champ getting a nerf to 3 of her skills has me worried. I still wouldn't want one on my team.

the Q buff is huge because Q has 1.5 sec cd

E is getting a straight buff cuz the ad ratio is total ad now + it gets ap ratio

R nerf is too much, the champion doesn't even build CDR

Control wards don't work on invisibility. They just work on camouflage.

No. All it means is that you can reveal her with true sight abilities like TF ult and Kled Q. She can also be revealed by Oracle's if you get it from Klepto.

Dude riot did this just to get the akali hate off their back. Many players despise the ability and hate it and so do I. It's a smart thing they done this. Rengar players can finally again 1 shot akali with r.

Let's be perfectly honest, the W is the worst part of the ability. I mean, to be fair I've hated it ever since they removed the ability to pink it and attack her prerewrok, but regardless. The cd is flat, and you can't extend the duration. Now that they've finally hit her shroud super hard maybe they can finally pump some power back to the rest of her kit, which they already did a little with Q and E.
