Swain Rework Kit Thoughts
OK so I think a lot of us are excited that Swain finally got a proper teaser today and is going to hit the PBE next week (because hitting it tomorrow on a Friday is just a bit odd). With that said, we now have to look forward to what the new kit provides and plays out from his current form.
From the top of my head, here's what I can recall so far of him:
-
His passive is another soul based mechanic but works differently from the rest of the other types in the game
-
Ult can be activated when Swain has enough souls, so souls are more of a resource to be gathered.
My speculations on the rest of his kit:
-
He has to at least keep Nevermove. I feel it's one of his more iconic abilities just based off of name. Or at the very least keep a variation of it.
-
Ult still turns him into a bird but makes him turn into melee for a short time since he's described as joining his troops in battle than being on the backline. Gains cleave attacks and deal magic damage.
-
Has some sort of sustain when killing minions and doubles as collecting souls.
-
Possibly will build and play a bit more tanky than most battle mages
-
Some use of birds, either Beatrice or a flock of ravens
Remember these are just speculations/theory-crafting of mine and that's the point of this post. What are your thoughts/theories on Swains new kit next week?
Crystals that when activated give vision.
