"AD on Old Sion wasn't viable because you were easily kited."
Then why are we complaining about these champs?:

Because he got cc'd and instantly died. Garen and mord can build 1 damage item and 100-0 a squishy while being invincible. Mord takes like 2 half damage items to do this.
Old Sion had to build basically full damage. If you werent cc'd you went ham, but 9/10 times you got stunned and obliterated.

If you couldn't literally 100-0 him while he was stunned he'd instantly heal all of it back up
You generally could though.
Meanwhile AP old Sion just rubbed off with his shield.
And then did no damage because it popped. Unless it was the laning phase, in which case he took your damage happily and then smacked you around for good measure.
Keep in mind that since then. The put the Rage passive into the new Black cleaver. Also keep in mind that Dead man's plate is now a thing.
none of these champions truly have create mobility. But easily compensate for that with their build paths. Should juggernauts as a whole have too much MS for their class. Riot may want to look at their itemization first.
Old as sion was godly with the right team comp
I remember going zilean support with Morgan's boy lane
Late game sion would zoom around the map while immune to CC, tearing up everything in his path of death and destruction, because they could not get away

Old Sion had a point a click stun which made up for his lack of mobility.
Also, anyone who built Old Sion as AD would normally get these items:
and take the summoner spell
. The fact of the matter is, if you play a champion with a weakness, then most of the time, you play in a way to make up for that weakness. Either by making your strengths stronger or making your weakness less advantageous to the enemy.

They'd also have one of these

That's not what Garen's Q does.
"ACTIVE: Garen cleanses himself of all Slow icon slows affecting him and gains 30% bonus movement speed for a few seconds."
Has speed boosts, higher natural tank stats & true damage on certain enemies.
Quite mobile with BC, bs heal on Q(according to QQ threads), has natural armor penetration & true damaging pentadunks.
He has a motherfucking dragon & a bitch-ass Riven steroid on his 3rd Q.
Whereas, all Sion has is:
Very long delayed Q for maximum damage, shield takes too long to reactivate, completely nerfed E just for a simple slow, & an ult which is easy to side-step, plus very minimal damage if used at melee range.

He's talking about Old Sion (pre-rework).
You honestly think Old Sion had an easier time getting to a target with his stun.
But he had trouble sticking to one.
New Sion has trouble getting onto someone without his ult, but can stick to them for a while.
Old Sion could get onto someone with his stun, but had trouble sticking to them.

Agreed. New Sion is so easily danced around that the mobility of today's meta makes him a walking joke. But Old Sion didn't have "Maybe"s and "If I do X long enough"s. He dealt in absolutes. This point and click stun WILL hit. I WILL deal damage with my ult. Do dancing around Old AD Sion. If you were within range, you were going to get destroyed.
And you do know Old AD/AP Sion was kinda toxic & has a lame gameplay right? (Ps Mb, didn't know you meant the old one)
Here's my view of the following Old Sion types:
#AP Q- a Point & Click stun which literally kills at least 50% of a carry's HP. This is nothing skilled at all. W- Although a good mechanic, his AP ratio is the exact same as his Q. Also not a very interesting kit if it were from a bush where he just went full assassin-mode by just hitting a simple QW. E- Passive is okay, but having a non-reasonable full on Riven AD steroid is just confusing. R- Literally doesn't help much in an AP build.
#AD
Q- A simple point & click stun. Technically a Taric's E with a longer duration. Nothing exciting about it.
W- Weak-ass shield & damage. Literally an Annie's E.
E- Now he's an actual full-Riven mode. Just gonna be annoying as fk when you stunned an enemy and then thunk a couple or 3 hits on him.
R- Pretty devastating if his ult were to combined with attack speed steroids from
.

I would have been perfectly okay with doing away with the shield and AP Sion all together. I agreed with Morello about "It must be so hard to press W and stand next to someone."
The thing that confused me is that, when I was reading the skills when the rework was first revealed, they kept in the shield even though that's what was complained about by Morello. But whatever, didn't matter to me. I liked the new passive, Q, W, and E but when I got to the ult, I was disappointed that they didn't keep Cannibalism in there even though it was unique in that it shared your damage with your team and made you into the "Lead us into the fray!" kind of champ. Everyone felt more eager to fight when it was Sion's ult that was going off. The new ult is fun and all, but it can really be telegraphed so easily that most people just walk right or left.

You realize that the OP is talking about the OLD Sion, right? (Sion before his full relaunch)
You're forgetting that
is a core item on
which makes him pretty much impossible to get away from once he gets into e range. siphon of destruction not only gives him ranged poke and catching potential with
but it's also aoe. Morde did a million damage before the rework, but at least he instantly died if he got stunned in a fight because he was super squishy without Iron Man. Now he's tanky, does a ton of damage, and still has Iron Man. it's disgusting, I want my old morde back
Way to make up a quote.
garen actually isnt so easy to kite but anyway i never complain about those champs personally.
The real reason he wasn't that good was because his early game was pretty bad and he really didn't scale up until late game when he had 6k health, 400 ad and 200% lifesteal. Ad Sion actually out scaled ap Sion pretty hard.
Those 3 heavy relevant laning phases by contrast. Essentially they can smash face before their opponents get enough damage to actually kill them during the kite.

That's why I took him into the jungle.
People that are easily bullied early are people I normally take jungling and by god, he would walk into that jungle a boy, but come out a man.
