At what point does losing hard become inting?
When you go 1/11, is that just losing hard or inting?
1/14? 1/17? 1/20?
In plat+ no less

Intentionally feeding is when you legit are intentionally feeding, if someone is having a bad game and trying to do their best then that is not int feeding, they could be losing the lane because the opponent is just steamrolling them.

In other words Riot doesn't care if you feed... only what you say.
They are all about banning for speaking your mind.
"Say nothing and go 0/25/0." No ban.
"Say ok we ain't going to win this and I'm sick of losing a 3/2 surrender vote, walking down lane... and going 3/10/7" BAN.

Bro if you someone goes so much as 2 or 3 deaths behind in lane, it only gets harder for them to stay alive. They were being either outplayed or outnumbered, and now they’re going to be underpowered through resource disadvantage. That’s how snowballing works. Unless the team changes strategies or the opponents themselves start throwing a game, the disadvantaged champion isn’t going to magically flip somehow.

Look it's REALLY REALLY hard to justify more than 12/13 deaths unless you are 100% inting. That's in a 50+ minutes game where the other team is stat padding and trying not to end... and you are their focus target the entire game.
You get these people though that have an average of like 0.8-1.4 KDA who are somehow in the same ELO as you simply because silver/bronzes games are honestly more luck than skill. They never say anything and thus never get banned.
I'm not a particularly good player but I'm about the perfect example of average as I bounce around s4-s1. If I can keep a 3'ish kda including my "bad games", bad matchups, and generally losing as many as I win... then I don't think saying people that have like 1.2KDAs that get lucky with good teammates are inting is out of line. When you ping them back, type in chat, and all they ever do is walk down lane, hit minions, and pick fights with 6/0/12 mundos as a 0/9/4 Yas/Riven/Ect... yeh that's inting.
That guy that's 53 minutes into a game with a 12 to 65 score that's 4/6/6 while bot lane is a combined 3/28/5 that says "ok fuck this..I'm done" and stops trying because the bot duo votes no every FF vote.... he's the guy that gets punished.
This isn't a Riot issue, it's a dictionary-definition-of-the-word-"intentional"-thing.
So i can do my best to afk farm, spam emotes in the base then go intentionally fight a fed enemy 4 levels up knowing i wont win, but I'm trying to kill him! Just died in the process of trying. Thats ok right?
It becomes intentionally feeding when they are intentionally dying for the benefit of the enemy team.
It's in the name.
The point where it is done intentionally?
Except we've had those that intentionally do nothing useful and dying is a side product of their afk farming and emote spamming still not being counted as inting
What makes you think there’s a specific number?
you could be going 0/3 and someone will go "report so and so for feeding"
Ive had games where a laner repeatedly goes in to fight being 3 levels and 2 items down while full well knowing they cant kill the other laner, but they're "trying". 14 death zed in 30 mins that just ults on CD into 3+ people, or 14 death quinn in 20 mins just nonstop fighting and dying https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2855993973/245972091?tab=overview Same guy shortly after, 2-13-3 as jungle talon in 20 mins, totally legit trying...
Not inting then?
Or those that go attack speed veigar and do nothing all game, dying here and there while deliberately not attacking the enemy. "was just farming"
Not inting?
Obviously not since none of them got punished
You seem salty. I suggest a nap. If they are doing this consistently in most of their games the ELO SYSTEM will handle them. Everyone has bad games. I’m sure you have too. I’m sure you’ve been that person that everyone else on your team is stressing out over. The best thing to do if you’re feeling extra salted is take a break from playing. Be that an hour, a day, a week. Go find something else to enjoy. And then come back if you feel like it. But if this game is consistently getting you salty, perhaps it’s time to find something new. Because the player base isn’t going to change anytime soon.
