Can we talk about the cancerous infernal drake that seems to decide more games than baron.

Ever since the mage mid year update i noticed the game quality got better and worst at the same time ! the elemental drakes were nice but the infernal is way too contested and psychologically too influential towards tilting. its like once they get it i know im fucked indefinitely. https://s28.postimg.org/f3nelvld9/hqdefault.jpg #At least baron wears off.

i mean 3 of them does give a deathcap worth of ad/ap lol.

It would likely be heather being a 5% increase in damage to enemy champions only. Still strong but not game deciding and would leave mountain as ideal as the objective taking drake.

Only other thing I can think of that drake doing is giving us permanent redbuffs minus the heal and slow.

Infernal only feels unfair when the enemy team has 3 of them

You mean whenever i don't have dragon control, every game i actually get multiple it is two wind and one water

I'll be frank. I think the elemental dragons were the dumbest thing to ever be implemented, and were a rushed solution to the burgeoning problem that the original system before it was perpetuating. As if to add insult to injury, this change came DIRECTLY after Riot had said that RNG was something they would like to avoid putting more of into the game, during a discussion about Crit.

There's a difference between the two though. The drag is interactive RNG. Crit is just something that you have to account for in a psuedo random environment.

pshh just two of them. Disgusting >:(

Instead of nerfing the infernal dragon, maybe they should buff the other dragons to make them feel more impactful. I think earth dragon is in a good state, but cloud and ocean dragon feel lack luster.

I dunno if it's that bad really. I had a game yesterday where the enemy had 2-3 of them by the end of the game and we still managed to push through and beat them. Sure it did make them tougher but it wasn't like it was the deciding factor in who could win or lose.

Infernal drake sucks unless your team is blood thirsty and just team fights alot

WoonStruck1 votes

It improves your damage vs towers/objectives almost as much as Mountain. It also helps you push faster, especially vs super/baron minions.

Well if you are not contesting objectives then yes the infernal drake is better for playing a death match. If you want to get objectives earth is better because of the percent true damage. Wind helps with rotating and the best drake, ocean allows your team to have to reset less as they can roam the map longer.

The infernal is only really good when you get three of them and if you let the other team get three of the same elemental dragon then your team doesn't have good map control and they were going to push fast anyway.

Infernal Drake is an objective I actually care about. There's only 4 objectives that can spawn that are worth anything right now, Infernal, Earth, Elder and Baron. I just don't give a fuck about the other two Drakes or Herald, they don't do anything. When I don't care about an objective because it's non impacful that's a bigger problem than another objective being a little strong.

I'd prefer to see the other objectives tuned up to Infernal's strength so I actually want objectives.
