Instead of buying a smite upgrade what if the machete had the smite upgrade from the start?

That way the champs who struggle early first clear like mainly mages can get Trailblazer at the start.

For anyone else who wants a more useful smite in terms of ganking/dueling will still get chilling and challenging.

Up the cost for switching between smites if you have to, but people rarely switch anyway.

For those worried about the challenging and chilling smite you can make it so that they dont get the full upgrade at the start.

For instance that you need the second upgrade of challenging to get the true dmg autos while you keep the damage reduction and vision on the machete.

They still have to buy Machete for it tough. and only 2 pots unless they do a camp.

They could also make the PvP upgrades weaker before the second upgrade like.

Challenging smite: Challenging Smite can be cast on enemy champions, marking them for 4 seconds. The marked target is revealed and deals 20% less dmg.

And when you upgrade it it gives also the true dmg.

Chilling smite could also give do less dmg and steal less if needed.

Many reasons why that wouldn't work.

First off, the smite upgrades have a gold cost to them when you upgrade your machete. You have to buy them, not get them for free. This helps keep laners from abusing smite.

Early ganks would be too strong for champions with faster/better clears (like Fiddlesticks).

And so on.

stop trying to make every single champion fast clearer machines, might as well make jungle mobs heal you instead of damaging you since "early jungle is too stronk". Not to mention i can already see all the laning smites and all the massive jungle ganks lvl 2. There is so much wrong here it's not even funny

Please, no. I like having the option to realistically level 2/3 invade a tank junglers red before they are unkillable CC machine: this would remove that as an option, as they would have full health + mana throughout their first clear AND much faster clears.
