Ever seen someone drowning? They logically would like to be saved, and if asked before, or after, the drowning incident they would agree with that. Still, most drowning victims will try to pull someone down with them than allow themselves to be saved by calming down and submitting control to the rescuer.

This is why supporting often sucks in general. Trying to save a panicking person just results in them refusing all aid and lashing out wildly. Sucks hard.

This post hits so close to home it hurts. I have started to just avoid redemption a lot because of how many times this happens. Or I will use it solely on myself as a quasi offensive tool along with the heal.

I even ping that redemption is up, then general ping the place I'm about to drop it at and people still move out of the way. It is mind bogglingly stupid.

While we are on the subject of stupidity, people who burn their flash when I'm playing as Thresh, when I have a lantern up and am well away from anything that would have hurt them. Insta-facepalm.

I 'get' that some of that is instinctual. I can forgive the first time it happens, but the second third and fourth...no.
