why does every rengar thread have 60 comments defending rengar?
are people actually dumb enough to think he's acceptable right now, or are they just playing devil's advocate when it's totally unnecessary?

In their defense, most of those 60 comments contribute about as much to the discussion as this thread.
Their main argument is "Wull if he was nurfed he woodent get any killz and he would be totarry useress brah"
if that is the main argument in defending a champion nerf/buff then that is a sign he needs a rework instead of a number tuneup. We're just trying to fix him tbh not make you hate playing rengar.

Some people get sick pleasure out of futilely trying to defend the QQ target of the week. This week just happens to be Rengar. I'm looking forward to whoever it is next week. I'm kinda hoping it's

If you call for nerfs on a champion, some will support you, while others will not. How is this not really obvious?

Because if you take away his burst he is a shitty champion who has nothing but a 1.75 second snare. If I wanted that I would go Morg.
He was fine before the yellow trinket was made crap, and pinks took a whole item slot. His kit is pretty binary though, either being so fed you oneshot or so weak you are useless. He needs a rework of sorts if we aren't getting proper vision back.
Rengar is like Teemo. Annoying. After you start adjusting your strategy to deal with him, however, he becomes a joke to deal with. Much like Teemo.
i read through alot of these and mostly they are saying 3 points.
1.u want rengar nerf cause u suck! 2.rengar doesnt need nerf he has counterplays just pink ward the whole map! 3.if anything is nerfed on rengar he is gonna be garbage! cant let it happen!

Well, Rengar is a flashy assassin over all - so lots of people like and play him, additionally you show your superior understanding of the game by telling people how easy those Champs are to deal with. (Wonder how these guys than still lose as much games as everyone else when 'wining every Lane' against said Champs x'D)

But on all seriousness whenever there's a thread complaining about a certain champ, someone who mains that champ is going to show up whether you like it or not, and will try to defend about it depending on how reasonable the claim seems. Lots of people defending Rengar? Probably because that's how many people like playing as Rengar, they like 100-0'ing ADCs.
