Seriously why does fiora have an attack speed slow on her W?

It's the exact same situation that lee sin was in, it just added extra utility to his kit, where he didn't need it.

Except Lee sin has a shield for his team mates and his kick, and are you seriously still complaining about Fiora? She's been in the dumpster for like 4 patches now.

I'm simply complaining that this tank mechanic is on a champion who shouldn't otherwise have it. It by itself gives her the counters multiple champions, despite really not being clearly expressed in her kit.

I'm not saying she's broken i'm wondering why such a mechanic is just tacked onto a kit without actual reasoning. It's like ekko having an execute attached to his W. There really isn't a need for it. It's just an extra mechanic to inflate the champion's power, by giving them more answers. It's simply bad design.

That actually makes a lot of sense to me since that's an incredibly powerful debuff for dueling. If she gets to your carry and a tank can't bodyblock her then you should be having a bad time.

that's not called dueling though, that's called assassinating.

Dueling power comes from abilities like her Q and the move speed on her passive/ult which allow her to control the pacing of the fight. To oversimplify the whole thing mobility controls dueling, this includes things like slows and roots which limit your opponent's mobility.

No, it affects the way she fights other characters in a 1v1, therefore it affects her dueling ability. It allows her to duel champs like tryndamere.

The situation he described is assassination.

That said, you're correct, but a fiora could still win a duel against a tryn, without the attack speed slow, by out dueling her opponent by engaging and disengaging correctly, and maneuvering around them.

Seriously a 1v1 fight (of any kind) is all about pacing. Yes it lets her kit basically automatically defeat a tryn, but it doesn't actually help her out duel him, simply overpower him.
