Ok... what is going on with matchmaking?

Lately it's horrendous. It was never as bad as it is now... Yesterday i was the only player in my team who was above level 30 and all my enemies were plats and golds. We won but that is not the point... the game was terrible and my team including me were not having fun AT ALL. Infact i think they threw the game. All my games are aither 4 diamonds vs golds and unranked. Sometimes i am from the team with level 30 vs a team of players below level 30. Never was league matchmaking THIS bad. Back in season 2 it happened on occasion but not often. Now it is Heroes Of The Storm level bad.... wich is the lowest point it can be.

the issue is people are duo queueing more than ever. people dont want "solo queue"

pregroups will influence the system and compensate by going up against tougher players

people say they arent, but you go and check them on opgg, and there they are XXSWAGGINS and XXPROFANITY have duo queued together 9 times! and they've won twice!

its almost... like they're artificially raising their MMR, playing against tougher oppoents, they are gold3 and gold 4, enemy team plat 5. and they're making stupid friend decisions, like "lets do this" (horrid idea) and they both die in enemy territory.

and when you tell them what to do (the right thing) (group up at mid tower 25mins in the game), you get nothing but XXSWAGGINS - "wow report CrestKnight, trolling/verbal abuse" XXPROFANITY - "yea, report please".

(sorry if those are actual player names, just giving an example)

But this was always a problem. The thing is now it's happening ALOT more and i don't get why.... Is it the stupid meta? The terrible new draft? I don't remember ever being placed so much with under level 30 as i am now.

its the new queue. they can guarantee they get a specific position if they take a friend.

someone picks Mid/ADC, the other picks Mid/Top

so someone in their group is guaranteed to get mid and they can just trade. for the one person whos actually comfortable in the top/adc positions.
