Just wanna say thank you to the moderators here

The amount of toxicity we're seeing in thread creations lately is completely uncalled for. Glad our mods are doing something about it and locking those threads down.

I Lurk on new almost exclusively. So the toxicity has not really seemed to change much for me.

Yeah I used to lurk on New as well. But the quality of the content was going down (this was a long time ago) so I switched to Hot only. But now Hot is starting to look the same.

Cuz not enough people lurking in new to try to filter rubbish posts out. Mad at X is fine. Being a dick and providing no value? Gtfo.

Good point. Maybe I should help out. Not like Hot will be changing much in the meantime.

That doesn't solve the issue of people being mad.

As Corsair Sion mentioned, this thread is unfortunately in the wrong sub-board. Moderation-related discussions are best posted in the Discuss the Boards sub-board.

However, as a final note, we know that posts that don't foster healthy, meaningful discussions on Gameplay are unpleasant to look at and at times clog the different views. We'll continue to evaluate our moderation practices and policies regarding different types of posts to improve user experience.

Thanks for the note :)
