arguments against a non unanimous early ff + ffs in general
i really dont understand how people are so adamant about being anti surrender, im gonna preface this by saying **i dont think ranked should at all have an ff vote and none of this applies to ranked matches **
i always hear "stay in losing matches to improve" but lets be real for a second, how the game is rn you usually arent learning from losing matches because they're too far gone often than not, would it not be better to start a new match from scratch and improve from there instead of being trapped in a one-shot fest? imo the way the game is now losing isnt a learning experience unless its a long match that ends up lost, a pure shit stomp has nothing of value for you to learn after it starts when all you needed to learn from that point was mistakes you made that lead to that point
another thing i hear is that "every game is winnable" i think everyone knows most games can be brought back, but keep in mind this is a game ment for fun, if most of the team agrees to ff it usually means that even if its kinda winnable no one wants to play it out because its just not gonna be fun, uphill battles arent fun for most people in norms, winning at the cost of a long frustrating match just isnt worth the hassle for a lot of people and can easily ruin your next match because your tilted from the last match even harder than you would be if you coulda just ended it at 15 and got into a good match after not to mention that those hard losses that are pulled back are just way too rare and your usually just gonna end up wasting more time on a loss with no payout
if theres anything i missed or any counterpoints you want me to rebut just leave a comment
