Riots new interesting ways to counter mobility creep

W stops dashes which is pretty damn cool imho finally a cahmpion with the ability to limit mobility, not all mobility but some of it. either zone by activating it before or use it reactively and block a dash by mashing W to stop someone from going anywhere.

Can pull your spirit, you can run away but you will be slowed and punished with hentai :P Or stay in its range and recieve some damage.

Both abilities can be avoided completely but do in their own way counter mobility. I think unique skills like these are the way to go about handling the mobility creep.

Players have been complaining about an abundance of mobility. But lets be honest we all like mobility aswell. The thing is it always lacked counterplay besides point and click cc like Fiddlesticks fear Rammus taunt or Taric's fabulous dazzle. Now i do think targeted cc has a place, it has been in decline, through kit updates and reworks. This is because targeted cc is so very strong.

But with the one counter we had to all this mobility slowly and surely fading away, only existing on a few old champions, and the amount of mobility increasing rapidly, as the only other thing to counter mobility is more mobility. We did kind of need new tools to handle it.

Im interested in what else can be done, to create counterplay to mobility.
