why is crit not treated like this?

one thing I've thought of is a muliplicative of your average DPS haven't finished running the numbers though but basically this:

if you do 100 damage per auto with 0% crit, its 100x1= 100 per auto if you do 100 damage per auto with 10% crit, its 100x1.1= 110 per auto (10 hits 9 non crit, 1 crit; 900+200=1100/10) if you do 100 damage per auto with 30% crit, its 100x1.3= 130 per auto (10 hits, 7 non crit, 3 crit 700+600=1300/10) etc.

what its basically saying is you have perfect RNG and crit ever X number attacks out of 10 to average out your damage till you get to 100% where just are x2 every attack. My thought is that this will just take the RNG fights of 40% crits against each other to see who crits more for who wins the fight. Why is crit not treated like this?

My personal opinion is that Crit should get the dodge treatment:

aka- Removed from items entirely and moved to readable and predictable parts of individual champion kits.

I wasn't around for the dodge days but doesn't the above do that by just making a little more damage per auto, so it is predictable and the DPS is overall the same
