is it just me or riot hates silences and bleeds

i mean they removed the silences from talon, lb, viktor and kassadin,and when it comes to bleeds twich's passive deals pretty much no dmg on early game and its late game dmg is not even amazing, there is also talon's bleed which pretty much deals no dmg at all. the only champion with a competent bleed that i can think of its darius which is kinda stupid since his passive deals a lot of dmg and he also has a secondary passive on his E, talon and twich doesnt have second passives and their bleeds are almost unnoticeable. And lastly the only silences that remain on the league are coming from Malzahar, Cho'GathSoraka, Blitzcrank, Fiddlesticks, Garen. Any thoughts on this, guys?

Foolish mortal, talon's bleed is legit the best one in game, not only its the strongest, it also reveals champs that are bleeding for the entire duration. And they removing silences off people like Lb/Talon because silences on them (and kass) doesn't offer any counter play if they happen to go in. But for viktor... i dont know why they removed his. and yeah i agree that twitches poison is barely exist.

It doesn't reveal anything. It leaves a laughable blood trail that serves no actual purpose other than to let Riot say "See we made a mechanic to let you chase people!"

Darius has an overloaded kit because he's easily kited and has no mobility. He's powerful if he gets in close, but doesn't really have a way to deal with mobility other than his pull - which can be outdistanced by anyone with a dash or knockback. Or any kind of CC, really. Twitch's gets devastating with his bleed on his ult, and then when he 6 stacks your entire team and then uses his e, that's painful.

i was not implying that darius is 2 strong i just think that his passive in comparison to others bleed is too powerful considering he has 2 passives.

Except twitch poison does true damage and can do quite a lot if you get all the stacks up.

His E can do a lot of damage. His poison itself is barely noticeable even at max stacks.

They actually think DoTs are harder to play against than burst damage even though DoTs give you 4+ seconds to decide what you need to do to survive it. I don't fucking know why, but they think it confuses people because their health bar is dropping slowly. People can also only comprehend playing with 9 decks in hearthstone, too.

And I don't understand the silence butthurt either. It's the weakest hard CC in the game. You still get to move and attack. I don't understand why they're not spewing PR horse shit about stuns and knockups instead.

Stuns and knockups are both much shorter than silences. (excl: Blitzcrank; of course he has a silence AND a knockup...)

No, that's not actually true. Most silences are/were 1 second or 1.5 seconds, and Garen and Cho'Gath have 2.5 second silences but aren't exactly strong characters for it because a silence is the weakest hard CC you can give something. They're the same duration as most other hard CC skills.

Knockups are 1 or 1.5 seconds and usually have a slow attached, Fears are 1/1.5/2.25, Taunts are 2/2.25, Stuns are 1/1.5/2(4 for Ashe), and there are some debilitating slows that last like 5 and 6 seconds.

Silences are weak, Assassins were strong, so a circlejerk erupted to get Assassins nerfed. That's all it was.

To be fair both Kassadin and Leblanc the other two silence assassins had silences that lasted much longer. I know leblanc's could last 2-4 seconds depending on whether she used mimic after her sigil of silence, and at max rank kassadin's silence lasted 2.5 seconds before he started getting nerfed, but yes definitely agree that the nerfs were targeted at removing assassins from the current meta.

Because in the case of all the champions that lost their Silence (save viktor) they had mobility and burst to back it up while you have nothing.

Basically it was if they landed a Silence on you, you are dead since you can't use a dash/blink ability to escape, can't use CC to stop them, can't walk away since they still have better mobility on you, and you can't burst them down since no damage abilities. Assassins shouldn't have that kind of CC since it all but guarantees them a kill.

They hate Silences with no counterplay (something Leblanc, Talon, and Kassadin's silence abilities didn't have.) I would not be surprised if the others would lose theirs too (except garen and Soraka?)
