I enjoy his visual upgrade, not a huge overhaul in changes. I enjoy his new kit, not a huge overhaul in functionality.

Wish other reworks got this treatment...

That being said I think its interesting how among his Q into a skillshot was enough to budget making his E a wall/block against projectiles AND letting him move during the cast.

Also got a lower budget into having an ult that is half its cast time.

Verrryyy interesting.

Edit based off comments so far and my rationale, so far.

Passive shield block removed, moved into E but for projectiles.

Passive crit/execute removes, replaced with new passive that enhances abilities

Skillshot on Q removed, E is now a mobile ability

Ultimate has half its cast time.

The power is increased in almost all ways (debatable only on block reset vs projectile block)

Altogether huge strength shift upwards.

He also likely had the auto crit execute mechanic adjusted/removed, and likely his W cc adjusted. Theres more shuffling than just Q = skillshot.

His passive also got changed. His passive was huge for his gameplay.

Yeah. His E is his new defensive mechanic. Every diver has a powerful defensive mechanic.

You are right. The block was kind of removed in place for the E.

The crit mechanic was more situational, imo, than this new passive which is also a power shift upwards. Just saying he gained a lot more than he lost although the shield block is a big shift. I get that more now.

I wonder if its keeping with that annoying turret diver theme where his E can block turret projectiles.

His annoying passive is also removed which hard countered certien match ups and made him really good at turret diving. I think they will eventually revert the "full" damage block and make it similar to braum where he takes some damage.

I feel like if they decided to keep the full block then they should at least prevent him from moving. Adjustable damage removal is kinda stupid to think about.

Skill expression is good and fine like on champs like a Twitch or Riven but it is an issue when a champ can do too much. Panth does not seem to do to much which is good for playing with and against.
