How to fix one of the bigger problems with smurfing

Smurfing, plenty of playes do it for several reasons. Personally I see nothing really wrong with it, but it does cause some issues for new players. And, come on, you can't stop it...So how do you correct for it?

Riot should put in a system where you can link your Smurf accounts to your main account.

And, yes, that does present us with another problem. Why would I link my accounts together, especially if it means I don't get to pub stop noobs all day?

Riot would have to incentivise it. But, if you had access to skins or maybe a handful of your favorite Champs (that you already own on your main account, of course) In return you are going to be placed with people closer to your skill level.

Then you would have a more even playing field for new players, who get stomped because they don't know what to do yet. Getting your head stomped in can't be good for player retention. This gives people a chance to learn how to play.
