Will Dynamic groups be introuded duing the preseason?

Or will it along with team builder style ranked not be released until after season 6 starts?

I hope not. Removing solo queue is the worst idea they've ever had.

I feel like its probably going to get annoying, but keeping my mind open. Want to at least have an attempt to get used to it before season 6 starts assuming its out by the start of the season.

I love the new "pick your role" addition, but I hate the idea of people queuing as teams.. I just feel like 4v1 verbal abuse will become common when their precious team starts to lose.

Yea I can see that as well. I guess the nice thing with being lower elo like myself is there will be a lot more summoners to choose from. So it should be pretty easy for the system to match teams vs teams. But being the 1 person on a team of 4 is definitely going to suck more times than not.

On the plus side, it should open people up more to grouping. So say you and your buddy are duoing and you play a game right off the bat you have a player or two on your team you are joking around with a lot. The game goes on and you realize the player is pretty good and seems pretty cool. You would now have the opportunity to invite them to play a few games with you without making a ranked team. Could be kind of fun in some instances. Overall it will probably make for a difficult solo que experience, but I guess time will tell.

Thats true, I guess I completely overlooked the aspect of just inviting those that actually played well in previous games. That actually could work really well in that case.

I did too. I saw in a Q & A a Rioter included that point and it opened my mind about the idea. From other games I have played teams in a solo ranked setting have really hurt the ranking system IMO, but this game does have a large player base and they are adding group rank limits (such as cant have a player 2 tiers higher than in your group), which may make it work in this game.

Yeah it actually might be really nice to play a game, you lose but have 2 others that really did well, you queue as 3, next game you get another guy that stood out, you slowly ween out any obvious feeders. Welp now I like this idea.

Yea. Idk I realize I have played this game a lot for many years and have made it my goal to get Gold. I got very close at the end of the season, but fell a little short. I was playing a lot of solo games and getting really stressed out and then would have a buddy logon and want to play. I think were the same skill level but he is a couple divisions lower (silver not much of a big deal) so we play and generally have fun. Even if we lost I was always in a better mood afterwards and sooner or later we would go on a winning streak. I am hoping this dynamic groups is a way to help players chill out and have some fun in ranked.

Obviously there will be troll teams and what have you but if you have a good group of friends or summoners who want to try and win but also have some fun it should create an overall better experience for you and them. I am sure there will also be a lot of solo qued players who will match up against each other as well. The "pick your role" option will be interesting. I imagine I will be picking fill a lot, since that is what I currently do.

Except that there is already a Team queue... what is the purpose of removing Solo Queue when we already have that?

Yea I hear you. I would assume you cannot pair up with more than 4 people, but I swear I heard you can do all 5. So if that is the case wtf the point of making a ranked 5s team?
