Yeah I would see this being an issue but, in my teamcomp no one had enough damage to actually even get him to half health. I know that in lore he's suppose to be this supperior warrior that no one can match his skill but jesus christ, this dude needs a rework. Looking at some recent ability designs and all surely Riot could rework him into a champion that can show that supperiorness through skill.
I know this might come harsh or anything since you main him, so i'm sorry.
Bait.. Bait works really well.. They feel invincible they're not going to be afraid of much. So if you can lure him into a 1v3 then you can shut him down. Also, the best you can.. Avoid him. Don''t try to 1v1 him in a side wave. If you need to split push just run at sight. Actually won a game the other day vs a SUPER fed jax and i was on Udyr. I just split pushed the best i could to get some items. He got so anxious to kill everything he jumped into a fight that he didn't have complete vision of and his team was too far back to follow up, so after he died, we just ran it down mid 5v2 and won. Basically, you have to give jax space at that point.. Just don't let him hit t3 turrets.

I guess that works too. Now that I come to think of it, what do you think would win a fight out of all these champs
?
Well Jax beats both udyr in a 1v1 and Yi in a 1v1..

Yi technically beats Jax. He learns to duration/animation during Counter strikes, and saves all his punishment for after it, running around during its duration. I've seen a Yi who knows the attack patterns kill jax 10/10 attempts. Aka.... Jax has choreographed attack patterns where Yi doesn't.
Tell that to Cowsep.. Because as far as WE know, Jax can trigger his E pretty much when ever he wants.

Jax's E has visual imagery to help Yi know when not to attack. Yi's Q and E don't have to react.

I don't even understand what you are trying to say.. But if Jax is using E then Yi cannot attack him.. which means if he uses Alpha during it, Jax can just wait till he lands back down. If you are trying to use ur Alpha to dodge his E's stun, then it's just a matter of luck if you actually do so.
Never 1v1 him late game. He's one of those guys where if he kills you once in a 1v1 scenario, you won't win 1v1 again. Want a counter? Bring a buddy who can CC him.

I did win against him as
and I even had
help me a few times.
To all the people mentioning -- CC is a generic counter and should never be a "tip for countering". You also need to consider the format of the queue you're in. A lot of the time its blind pick and you just so happen to find yourself after the fact needing the one thing you didn't have. This among many other factors like teamwork and skill level to name very few. At least, as I've mentioned, CC is generic so its a mindset that would benefit you regardless.
But lets not forget there's such a thing as
and its upgrade. I don't believe people here have ever posed the problems with their assumptions to themselves instead of short circuiting a nebulous strategy requiring superhuman prediction or a stacked team that would work with incidental fears.
My Advice? Jax is a counter pick to full Auto attack teams. Never pick a full auto attack team.
Also, if you're top/junglers appear to be auto attack with no cc blocks/tenacity and are first or second pick, Ban jax.
If the game's already underway, the best you can do is learn jax's visuals for Counterstrike, and not attack him during it. Gank him early and deprive him cs. End the game early.
The biggest problem with Jax is not his early game. It's that Counterstrike's cooldown scales clear down to 4.4 seconds, and lasts 2. He can block all auto attacks 46%% of the time, and if he receives attacks during that time, the strike after its charge can almost 1 hit or will 1 hit you.
Also, don't engage him for more than 2 hits. His kit is built around auto attacks giving him BOTH attack speed AND Magic Damage added to his autos. Each hit gives him massive stacks of attack speed, and every 3rd hit gives him massive Magic damage procs on auto.
This is why Jax can take down a turret in 20 seconds if he is a top laner who has just killed you at 6; He can have 2.0 attack speed and every 3rd hit will add at least 100 magic damage.
Your best "if you're already stuck in a game" strategy should be short engages, gangbangs, and Spell damage, and avoiding using auto attacks. Always have a way out, because he can leap to follow.
that reads to me like if you are caught on solo q your enemy is jax dodge
