Riot, remove jungle Auto-fill please

I'm not saying remove auto-fill. But I don't think it should be possible for a player to get autofilled to jungle. It's one thing when a player gets auto-filled to some lane. You can play almost any lane at least average with generic lane/game knowledge (you don't need a ton of experience), but if someone gets auto-filled to jungle, it's almost never going to go well.

Keep auto-fill support, mid, top , bottom. Just get rid of it for jungle.

Absolutely not. Everyone should jungle at least once or twice so they can see exactly what is going through a jungler's mind when a person is calling for ganks three times four minutes in and crying about the enemy jungler already ganking twice.

That's what norms are for. Don't get me wrong I agree everyone should try jungle at some point. But ranked is not the place to do it.

I'd rather myself jungle than say a support adc main who will spend most of the time farming out of fear of messing up.

I'm with you as jungle is the only role I can't do. All the other lanes make sense but jungle is odd to me. But I don't think it will happen.

Normal games have autofill too, which is stupid imo. But if everyone wants to be all "keep autofill everyone needs to learn every role" then jungle should be included. Besides they could just play Diana, she's pretty easy to jungle with.

everyone should know how to play any role on an average level, but since stupid people refuse to learn it then I have to agree

everyone can play any role, but doesn't mean a plat mid can do the same as plat jungle. Why do you think challanger player only play 3,4 champion in their main position to begin with?

"AVERAGE LEVEL"

"AVERAGE LEVEL"

Define"average"? In a Diamond Elo, what should "average" be? in a Bronze Elo, what should "average" be?

It could easy cost you a game in rank. And would you rather wait 30 mins to queu a desire route where you can play your comfort or play a game when you be a handicap of your team and most likely lose LP?

what do u mean define average level? i mean dont be dog shit and you dont have to be a god to be average. if you cant play a certain role and you fuck over your team because you refused to learn a role then its your fault above all else

Thing is... my friend. The higher elo is, the "average level" required is fucking important.

"higher than averarge" elo, from gold and above, the inability to perform in one role require much much much more training and knowledge about that role, match up to different champion than it was in silver and below elo. You need to learn your power spike, time to roam, reading enemy jungle, ward position, escape route of specific champion, ect... and all of that can't be learn in one or two training match.

Although the difference of "main bronze jungle" and "first time bronze jungle" is small, the gap between "plat mid laner" and "silver mid laner" will be so high your lane gonna got stomp so hard that it will affect all map in general.

Let get jungle for example. A jungle main know which camp they can possible clear first, which lane he can get to grab early kill, when to control objectives and which ward place to control other jungle. A auto-fill jungle can farm somewhat decent, but can't control spawn time of creeps, got counter jungle that lead to 1-2 level down, inability to pass buff to mid laner the right time and slower to react to gank from lane. All of that combine will lead to overall losing match in this role.

Fill in support, adc or "maybe" top lane may have less impact on the game, it would be somewhat acceptable. But if your mid lane is feed or your jungle got stomped, the whole map will being controlled and most likely lead to losing game.

And that how "AVERAGE" define the game.

wtf it doesnt matter what rank you are to see a big difference between first time junglers and jungle mains. average means you know what ur doing enough to benefit the team, no role on its own is super hard and only require some practice to understand, if you can't play a role at all because you refuse to have practiced it then its your fault when you fuck over your team.

And it's Rito's fault that they were allowed to screw over their own team in a RANKED game that measures SKILL not how much you SUCK at a role.

I never said there should be autofill, but its doubtful that it will go away and you cant just ruin your teams chances then blame riot all the time how about own up and learn the fucking role? seriously none of the roles are even that hard

  1. I main support and jungle. I don't really get autofilled.

  2. I know enough about the roles to at least survive laning phase.

  3. I'm referring to people who blame riot, don't learn the roles, get auto filled, and then proceed to screw over people in ranked. That exact reasoning is why it should go away. I'm tired of seeing people autofilled and losing because they can't play that role. It ruins the entire ranked system. Now ranked measures who is unlucky enough to get someone autofilled.

  4. I usually play normals, bots, training, poro king, and Aram. That rare time I want to play ranked? Autofilled players. It's a pain in the ass.

i agree with you, but riots stupid reasoning of "oh but queue times" is always their answer, even though it should just be optional so if someone wants a faster queue time then they can use it. but since its most likely not going away its retarded to not try to learn every role as much as possible before you get fucked over by it

SÆcret1 votes

There used to be an idea of "auto-fill except certain role"... but dumbass riot never apply it in game. Because ruining people game is more fun and its the best interest of Riot to make game as toxic as possible

dim2a1 votes

If you get autofilled jungle, ask for a trade. If people see they you are willing to trade for any other role including support, there is a great chance someone will trade with you. We all know how it is to be autofilled into our worst role.
