you cant since hell do true damage and heal 3 times in extended fights. you can take small trades on jax and leap away but... Dont under estimate his heal and 600 damage ult on top of 160 armor.

I play jax against him.

Assuming he didnt take ghost level 1 you will always out trade him with e. walk up to him or if he overextends towards you then let him aa you once to aquire minion agro. then activate e and follow him while aa. if he stays and tries to fight then just kill him and if he runs you can still get around half his hp usually. Just remember to walk towards him if he starts q and charges you.

Level 2 you will have jump. Now is when you try and kill him, back off a little or bait him to go for some minions. Repeat lvl 1 and then jump on him with q before he gets away.

Lvl 3 till triforce. You cant fight him anymore, his pull will fuck you up if you try to go in. If you ever see him blow pull then you have 18 seconds to harras him. q onto him, e hit him a couple of times and stun and get out. Otherwise try and farm and call for jungle ganks, darius is actually stupidly easy to gank and kill.

Other good champs are the standard top bullies like jayce and kennen. Gnar is good but you need to be good with him or else he will catch you.

also obv dont fight him 6 unless you can stop him from getting 5 stacks, (jax with e (again be care), kennen with stuns, jayce with knockback etc)

i tend to try not to fight him straight up his passive and his ult are stupid strong and now they give him sustain on his Q .... i try to farm as much as possible and wait for ganks and make sure we make him blow summoners... and or die

one of the last times i played vs him i was Maokai top and i just kinda ignored him and farmed up... and i had summoner 3 so when i did get a gank from my jungler with my cc and with he always blew flash or died if not both cuz he simply couldnt get away...

i did lose some cs early and was being a bit but i didnt die to him in lane ... i shut him out from snowballing he got bored and tried to roam... and i was able to push and take turret.

that game i ended up 5-3-23 as mao and he was something along the lines of 3-10 ( match history wont work right now)

grevious wounds and tracking his q cooldown so u can dodge it 2 ways( stay away from his q range, or just keep positioning urself right on top of him) 2nd part works very well if ur have swift boots so u wont get slowed too much for him to land his q.
