I know I'm going to be downvoted for this, but I didn't even know the support shields got nerfed.

If you already are long used to timing shields, that 6 to 2.5 second transition won't mean anything to you.

Otherwise you might have to start learning to do so if you haven't already and is finding trouble with the new nerfs, or else don't play shielding enchanters.

Namely Lulu, especially since Pix will still stay with the teammate for the full 6 seconds.

Exactly. Time the shields, that's all. It was unfair that shielding was so much easier to pull off than playing around them because of their obscene duration, especially Lulu's.

I have been reactively casting shields for 7 years, this change means nothing to me. However, as an assassin player the change is everything.

I noticed the change to Janna's shield since it got reduced in power rather than duration. It takes significantly less damage to nullify the bonus AD.

I also noticed the big efficiency nerf to heal/shield power items.

I feel like you're asking for more nerfs :(

Because the enemy team has already been aced.

I don't even do this "timing" everyone keeps speaking of.

You cast E on a target that's taking damage (doesn't matter who, the point is to counter an enemy cooldown).

Either:

  1. the shield is broken, in which case, it did it's job and ate like an ability/auto's worth of damage.
  2. the shield isn't broken, in which case, the enemy failed to do their job and your recipient is alive. Which is winning.
