@Riot Meddler Talon Wall Hopping Needs a Nerf

I hope I do not get flack for this but I do not support Talon being able to hop over walls and avoid damage . . . while in combat. Taliyah cannot use her passive in combat. There are other champions with abilities like his that cannot use them in combat. I mean Bard can tunnel his way out of damage, but players can go right through it and do something. Sol cannot use his roaming ability in combat and it stops when he is damage. Quite frankly I think the champions that can do it, like Lee Sin, it takes skill because he needs a ward or ally to do it. A Talon that gets caught out, CCED, damaged, singled out, and more . . . . should not be able to instantly hop over a wall with one button click . . . . while in combat. If the champions that have to have mechanics to do it, he should as well or it should only be used out of combat. I feel like it should only be used to get to other players and secure kills . . . . . and not to avoid a good play on him if he gets caught out. Current Talon Assassin's Path is bad champion design.

Nope. You need to learn to play around it.

Anyone who asks for nerfs to a champion with a 43% win-rate just because they don't like a part of their kit doesn't deserve a response from riot's balance team. :)

He has an ULT he can use to get out of sticky situations. He has a slow he can use to get of sticky situations. I feel like there is no counterplay behind an ability that can be instantly cast on a wall if his enemies manage to catch him out of place or get a good play on him. It's dumb and bad champion design. I can understand if there was a way for him to do it while in combat, like Lee Sin can with a ward or ally around him, but being able to just click a button on a wall shouldn't be allowed if he is in combat.

I mean Kat can do it if she places a good dagger on the floor and hop to it . . . . or back to it. Not Talon.

Except his ult is on a fairly high CD and doesn't help too much with escapes if you have to cover a large distance. His W now only slows on the second instance, instead of the first, so his slow can be easily dodged.

Each individual wall is on a very high CD until late game. he can also be CC'd while he is hopping over the walls.

I'm inclined to agree. It basically allows him to split push without fear unless you send multiple people with CC against him and even then he can still often get away and then he is back with his team faster than the people stopping him are.

If it were that he hadn't taken damage in X seconds then it would require some skill, juking, or using his ult to get away if you manage to initiate against him which seems like a fair trade. It would still let him roam aggressively and make amazing escapes but would give some counterplay for the opposing team.
