How to die less with corki mid?

I ward certain spots which normally help. But lets say a (after bieng camped by jung) ya know difficult laners that can basically oneshot you and/or junglers that can easily gank from fog of war, avoid wards or just have more mobility. Corki is a great farmer, great waveclear, and a great lane bully. But after his W is down he is kinda at the mercy of whoever is the better jungler even under tower, so just 1-2 ganks and corki is gimped until lvl 6 where he can get gimped again and zoned off of farm to farm under tower and get poked out and/or dived. Seriously any tips besides warding and the classic back off at lvl 2-3 and 6?

Well in the mid lane, Corki often lives and dies on Hexdrinker. It'll effectively mitigate any AP burst at least once. Secondly, don't let W go on cooldown unless you're actively avoiding a gank / an all in. Third, Corki is going to always be at risk of an all in from a Lee Sin, a Sejuani, A Fizz, a Kassadin, etc, etc. Have you considered taking barrier / heal / cleanse?

Ahri should be easy lane for you. Save W for when she charms and not when she engages. Her cc wears off when you escape with W as it doesnt stop dashes anymore

Think of it this way, at least in regards to Hexdrinker. So if not being able to be burst down allows you to stay in lane, it's already paid for itself. A mid laner that's perpetually pushed in loses drake control, can't roam, loses vision control, can't follow the other mid laner's roam. It's not always about you when playing Corki. Truth be told? Corki is a decent laner at best. He's not a lane winner. He's not a lane bully. He's a hyper scaler that spikes with trinity force and then spikes at four items, Maw included. Hexdrinker fits into that world. You want to exist, survive, farm and scale. Nothing more and nothing less.

Sit back, farm with Q, roam when you get package. Thats literally it. If lane is pushing, back and get package to roam. If lane is in middle, use E then Q to farm. If they use a skillshot just w away. Thats pretty much everything, only go all in once you get Sheen and see where everyone is. If anyone is mia, always predict theyre about to gank you. So dont overpush unless you see everyone
