PSA To all Bronze players.

1.) Know more than just one champion 2.) Use pick intent so that we don't ban your champ 3.) Did you just lock in? Check Runes, Masteries, and Summoner Spells. Actually open your mastery page up, don't just read the title. 4.) Are you winning lane? Build to your strengths. Losing lane? Build to your weaknesses.

Just lost a game cause our jungle forgot smite. Lost the game before that cause our top lane Zac died once to their AP Fizz and then he rushed a item 3068....instead of a item 3065 LOST THE GAME BEFORE THAT CAUSE OUR XIN JUNG DIDN'T MAKE A SMITE ITEM, RUSHED item 3078 , AND SPENT MORE TIME IN LANE THAN IN JUNGLE.

Just COME ON guys. I know that we are Bronze but these aren't even BRONZE MISTAKES, they are WORSE. I'm a support main. I know at least 80% of the support champs but I also know a few mid laners and junglers. Every game I load into I think about which champ I should pick and then after I pick it I go through my Runes, Masteries, and summoner spells to make sure shit like this doesn't happen. IT ONLY TAKES 30 SECONDS

I am support main and I've only played 1 support champ per season... I've been gold all seasons.

I Played a bit of Vel'koz tho, but almost all my games were morgana support.

I am talking about ranked too, for normals I just pick whatever.

i am telling you .. if your jungle isnt a carry jungle then he should be getting some sorta vision item.. the reality is ruff but its real.

he has the free time to wonder around.. he has the free time to pick and chose.. the fact that the burden of this falls on the support is an old mentality that people read somewhere and re-enforced. the game if it is a vision game it has to be used correctly.. because here is the thing..

you need to dictate fights.. and who better than a jungler who isnt ganking.

I feel like the people who know this get ripped by the people who don't and make stupid decisions.

As a previous support main, I STILL see people refuse to get gold income/ss.

IT'S NOT AN OPTION.

it is an option. when i put wards out and the team doesnt use them then why get a SS?

i can do perfectly well with limited vision..

The thing is other people dont understand where the enemy could be and where the enemy should be.

Look.. just Look.. this idea that you are pumping into people needs to stop.. You're bronze.. there is a reason you are bronze.. and its not because your support didnt buy a SS. trust me .. it isnt.. stop saying things like this.

claps slowly It's not like I barely play ranked or anything! looks at less than 100 games in ranked Oh.

Also; vision is power in this game. If you have 0 vision you can be walking in your own jungle to get blue and get flanked and caught out. Not only that, but you're telling me that as a support, you shouldn't get a sweeping lenses to deny vision. And gold income items are also an option, when you're support and have limited gold and are always behind in exp/levels.

How.

This is true

Because you can use them and ping your allies, even if they're not looking at the map.

For the vast majority of supports, the vast majority of the time, buying and using a sightstone is the correct choice. There is a very small subset of games where it is not the right choice, and if you're intelligent and perceptive you can figure out which times those are. But the thing is, people make the choice to forgo a sightstone that they should have gotten much more than they get a SS they shouldn't have.

Blindly buying sightstone isn't as good as buying it situationally if you make the right choices about when to buy it, but for the average player, it's better than making the call yourself. Thus, what Ventura is saying is more helpful than harmful.

As a gold player what you just said is completely wrong. However I'm not going to tell you why because I main jungle and I want to continue climbing because the enemy has no vision.

i see you only read half of what i said.. i said if you dont gank .. as a jungler.. buy vision.

Well, Bronze is considered below average, so Bronze mistakes encompass a large amount and there really isn't a "worse".

#Unrelated, but here's how I climbed.

In my experiences, I can climb really slowly. However when my champs are buffed (ie. Elise, Khazix, Swain) I would go on a ranked spree where I spam them. Swain alone jumped me from S2 to G3.

Some of the best players in league of legends are one tricks. I am a solo lane zac one trick that made it to diamond. Broad generalizations don't help new players get better. In fact, many players (like myself) suggest people find that one champion that really resonates with them and master it if they want to climb. Other then that, I agree with the rest of your points.
But if you are in bronze, there is a reason, and the enemy team is just as likely to make the same mistakes that you are listing. Many people get pissed off when it feels like they can't get lucky. Luck is a factor in league, but as long as you focus on improving yourself, and learning how to work with your teammates, you will climb. Instead of blaming the Zac that rushed SFC over SV, pay attention to your teammates and make suggestions during the game instead of posting here after the fact. Don't assume that your teammates are watching wards and see the gank coming, GIVE A WARNING PING ANYWAY. I have saved my teammates before by doing that, and they have saved me the same way. Don't watch the trainwreck slowly happen, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Seriously, it sounds like you are making this post to make yourself feel better instead of looking at ways you can get better yourself. I know that sounds harsh, but I have climbed 4 accounts to diamond by always looking at how I can improve after any mistake (mine or my teammates). Some games are un-carryable, and some teammates really don't want to win, it happens. Focus on improving yourself and you will climb.

I DO make suggestions to my teammates. It doesn't matter if I post on here after the game because that game is already won/lost. Did I instantly flame my Zac for getting SFC? No, I merely asked "hey Zac, why did you build SFC ? I think hat SV would have been a better choice". The result? Instant flaming from the Zac, calling me a shit support, "Don't tell me what to do Bard you suck ass" and asking me to use my ult in team fights where I couldn't ult anything that would help "ults always help, thats why they are ults" and then when I DO ult in a teamfight and fuck it up he flames me more. Tells the enemy team to report me etc.

There is working with your team, and there are also teammates that you simply can't work with

flyingbaklava1 votes

You tried. In this case, mute/report him and move on. Like I said above, some people can't be carried and some people (this zac) don't want to win. Posting here wont change that. Focus on what you can do. Improve yourself and try to help your fellow players in game. Some will flame you, others will respond positively. And this shit happens in Diamond too. I can't tell you how many times I have fought people who buy SFC against my Zac as a first item. It is hilarious and sad at the same time.

Playing multiple champs is the worst advice to give to a Bronze player. I was able to reach B2 somewhat easily by spamming only Kayle top. I dropped like a rock back to B5 in no time when I started wildly playing other roles and champs. Climbing Bronze requires a lot of carrying. You can only carry consistently on champs that you're Godly at relative to the average Bronze player. This multiple champs shit doesn't fuckin work.

Baby Ghoul1 votes

Number 1 isn't a problem Bronze players have.

If anything too many Bronze and Silver players try to play too many champions. I look at my friends that are Bronze to Silver 5, and they cycle through like 20 champions. Pick a handful of champions preforming decently within the meta for ranked unless you're a support main.

If you're a support main you can honestly get away with one or two champions most of the time. The team should never lean on the support too much to fill out the composition as we do not scale as quickly as others and we have different builds.
