Isn't The Electrocute Change A Net Buff?

I appreciate the change as a Velkoz main, I really do, but I'm not sure it really went in the right direction by compensating the damage portion with a reduction in the cooldown. In the end, this ends up being a net buff in damage over time (by about 4 whole damage, admittedly, but still) as the damage was only lowered by about 45% while the cooldown was reduced by 50%.

Essentially you're helping to reduce to "early cheese" factor that is Electrocute + Ignite, but I feel like the cooldown reduction is a lot more compensation than is really needed. Champions like Zed and Leblanc will be able to abuse that lower cooldown to, as I said earlier, actually do more damage than they were doing before.

I suppose I'll have to wait to see how it plays how once it goes live, but I'm just extremely skeptical these days.

It's mor and adjust. In early you can prok/use it more time. In late no.... Good in ealry nerf in late

If you can use it twice as much as you were using it before, then technically, yes, the total damage ends up slightly higher. However, you still have a weaker all-in burst and require more interactions with the opponent to get the same amount out of electrocute. This will cost more mana (if you use it) for the same electrocute damage and electrocute will be a lower percentage of your total damage.

It's a buff early game but late game a net diminished utility.

It's almost exactly Thunderlord's Decree give or take the AD/AP ratios being slightly higher.

They might as well rename it Thunderlord's Decree.
