why do people play ezreal?
all you do is spam q till you run out of mana, never auto attacking then ask for blue buff/red buff
and you aaaalways use your ult on minion waves instead of the grouped up enemy team that's seiging our turret

Thing is, a good Ez can abuse his range, safety, and poke to no end. Even in a lost lane he gets kills (if he's good). He should take care though- weaving AA's between spellcasts is the only way to effectively use Ezreal, as his passive is a great steroid. In addition, if Ezreal gets CDR, his ult cool down I virtually nonexistant lategame.
Also, your thread isn't about what makes Ezreal good/bad, but rather that the skill of some people who play him is low. This is true, but Ezreal is a monster in good hands.
Maybe one day people will figure out that AP Ezreal is better than ADC Ezreal.
I've been going AP Ez bot lane and it has been working. Normals don't really count, though. So, I can't comment on its viability there.
Their skills are inferior?
To play him as ADC and not build him with his one viable build so you lose an otherwise winning game b/c 4.1v5
His Q has a good damage ratio, he can increase the attack speed of his teammates and even himself if you're good at him. He is very mobile, being able to dodge most life-ending abilities. And finally his ultimate is a very good tool for clearing lanes for map advantage and yes teamfights as well
Because they want to.
Because Ezreal is good.
