It's not. It's how powerful he is with flash and ghost. Most Darius players don't actually take ghost (because they're stupid), and he is still performing very well.

ßurst1 votesWhen you complain about a champ that has a pretty much 50+ winrate throughout the whole game to a champ that has a high win rate early that drops to sub 48% after 30+ minutes to even a 46% 40 minutes your post loses value. Darius was abusing courage which made him tankier early so he could easily get off his stacks. So they nerfed it cuz obviously it was too strong.

Grasp is actually still the most common keystone on Darius, strangely enough. Old habits die hard I guess.

Yeah playing an overpowered champion feels pretty fantastic. Like early season six Mundo? That shit was fun as hell, just being unkillable and destroying everyone. Hell yeah.

ßurst1 votesThe korean meta is also very different from the west. They play for early game. Thats why things like Riven with thunderlords are still around in korea while out west we mostly only use fervor
