please make Shen q energy cost over time

there were a few times where I'd miss my taunt by a hairline and couldn't get q off to finish someone that was 1 empowered auto away from dying. if the energy on q was free to activate and would have its cost applied over the next 1.5 seconds instead then I could get it off. if you get pass your total energy it will just take that much longer to replenish itself, its a decision you need to make.

If you could pass the total amount of energy that you have. What would be the point of having energy in the first place? That's like saying a champ with mana being short 10 mana to cast the killing blow being allowed to go over it's pool of mana.

there are mana champions that have spells with no mana cost. like kayle ult had a no cost phase. its still using energy just draining it instead of "billing" the cost upfront.
