What's the thing about Lee Sin suddenly?

I don't see him that much in my games and he usually doesn't do extremely well. I'm aware he can do some good shit if he has strong mechanics (mid-high diamond/more) but I honestly consider him balanced. I mean, it's weird, when I see people talk about Lee they're like "omg he oneshoots me despite missing 15 Q's and hitting the 16th one, with a full tank build" Err.. mkay, maybe u're a little bit exxagerating? Or am I really matched always with garbage Lee Sin's and every other Lee Sin is a god and never matched with me? :o

It took everyone else this long to figure out that Lee Sin has too much utility and raw power. He's been defining the meta since release, and never gets nerfed because LC$BIGPLAYS.

Yeah, he has a full buffet of skills and moves available. And honestly, TWO true sight moves.....and ward hop to get to safety, and a quite powerful enemy displacement, and a "skillshot" dash, and energy(which means missing that Q has no real consequences...). This is not ALL of his abilities(considering he has SEVEN), but he is still really strong with tons of utility and mobility and he is strong in lane and in the jungle.

meta in season 4 meta in season 3 meta in season 2... big jungle changes happened pre-season 5, the increased difficulty hurt a lot of people's favorite junglers, champions that don't work at all if they don't work in the jungle. but lee sin is still clearing the jungle with the mobility to counterjungle and outduel the remaining junglers, all with sustain giving him enough health left afterwards to gank on the way home.

the "hate" has always been around, but the loudest complaints are generally from the weakest of the player base complaining about the typical snowball champions and lack the understanding to see the jungler as someone other than the person to blame when they lose lane.

If anything has kept him appearing "balanced", it's the fact that his kit requires a player to have a stronger understanding to utilize it with plenty of folk killing his win rate by trying to emulate higher elo players and failing miserably.

Someone like jungle yi on the other hand doesn't require the same knowledge to perform decently and scales well even when behind. If a lee struggles early, that team is much more likely to lose since if said player struggled during his strong period, he/she won't be able to compensate for later when he falls off in power.

Jungle balance changes had the stated intention of improving jungler diversity. Lee Sin still in every game at high level. Of course people will complain.

You're right about Lee in solo queue. Even in diamond he feeds more than carries. Not anything resembling a balance problem for solo queue.
