Poll to allow viewing of non-friend match history
I know this was changed some time ago and was clearly stated in the patch notes that it was happening, but, I feel that this is something that needs to be implemented back into the game. Currently what happens is we go to view a previous enemies match history and are met with a blank page that tells us we can't view any information without being their friend. This then forces us to use a third party website to look up the details that we wanted to see to begin with opening us up to risks for a feature that I believe should be re-implemented into the client it's self.
The reasons that I believe this should be re-implemented are: 1.) Allows you to look up people who may be better than you for ideas on other builds that may work.
- If you're newer starting out or have questions about how to build certain champions, it is very helpful to find information on what some other people are doing. There are options that allow you to see what pro players do, but sometimes without the the skill associated with the pro player bujilds, the builds won't work and it's easier to understand simplified builds that other people use.
2.) Helps to let you know if previous allies/enemies are inclined to leaving:
- Sometimes after matches, you will get blind invited to join matches that other playes you played with are starting. With the re-implementation this will help to weed out which players are apt to leave or rage by allowing us to see if a player has had many matches where they "left" or went "0/35/0", you may not want to play with them.
3.) Using LoL client is much safer and reliable than using a third party website
- While I have not had any kind of malicious attacks from any malware that may be lurking on third party websites; the opportunity to fall victim to one is always prevalent and if using the LoL client, can always have correct and up to date information.
Please submit your opinion on the poll in the link provided. If you disagree with the re-implementation, I would like to hear why. Thanks!
