Question and musings about Gnar

I have a question about Gnar and his rage generation. I've noticed that when I do a single auto attack I generate somewhere around 12-13 rage even if I only attack once. Is this intended to happen? If that is, then is there anyway that we can get some kind of showing on the passive that tells us how much rage is being generated per auto attack, and how long it stays filled. It appears that if all you're doing is last hitting, not straight auto attacking or taking damage, you generate 4 ticks of a predetermined amount of rage per auto attack. At level 1, you generate some where around 4 rage in total per auto attack, at level 18, it's more like 12-13. Imo, for the purposes of Gnar's rage, "being in combat" should only consist of when he's dealing damage or when he's taking damage/spell effects, and it should start to fall off closer to 5 seconds out of combat than what it is now (I think it's like 10-15 seconds out of combat, but again, don't know since it's not listed)

I know it's a little early to tell and I've only done a few customs with him, but it feels like he generates too much rage too quickly. To the point where late game, his mini-gnar form is almost nonexistent and to me, that's far more rewarding and much more fun to play. Mega-Gnar form feels very underwhelming. I know he's intended to burst and then run away, but his numbers are abysmal and his ult is kind of worthless considering that unless you jump on them, you're never going to hit with it. I mean, if you treat him like fiddlesticks and just ward like a mad man, he's never going to get into a good position to do anything, and since you can't stay in mini-gnar form for long, he's gonna get kited harder than cho (who, oddly enough, has more move speed, health, and damage than the supposed "mega").

Overall, I like the idea of the champion, but I feel like the direction you chose to go with rage generation and numbers are poorly done. Fix those and I could easily see him being a top pick.

Fun fact: you can't actually self bump your post to the top like GD. People actually have to like and care about what you say.

And honestly? I don't. Because I've been absolutely fine damaging people with Mega Gnar with just a Trinity Force as well as using his ult.

He's a high skillcap champ. Hell require a little time for people to get used to him. We very much do not need another Yasuo/Lucian who starts with a low win rate then gets huge unnecessary buffs just as people learn how to use him, creating a hugely dominant monster champ who warps the meta for 2 or more patch cycles.

He's A Trinity Tank.

As For Rage Generation It Raises Per Auto, Ability AND Being In Combat. That Includes Minion Aggro. Go In And Out Of Bushes If Your Having Trouble Controlling His Form Change.

Visa versa CounterPlay Ward His Bush So Minions Stay On Him To Force His Passive Change.
