In contrast to the 10 man ban system, Rather than banning a champion how about instead is a handicap

15% damage to champions nerf to a "banned" champion. If you still want to pick Yasuo after he deals -30% damage to champions well thats all you.

how about no?

That would be kinda biased poorly toward all the hyper carry and adc champions. No one would ban tanks and supports anymore because they don't deal much damage but people will only ban assassins, skirmishers, and adcs.

Forcing a handicap onto players is toxic, and ruins the fun of playing champions that you enjoy that are popular bans. Forcing players to have to choose whether or not they want to be less useful on the same champion than normal isn't fair

I mean otherwise you couldnt play them at all, so..

Would you rather play the champion gimped, or would you rather just pick something else? Because at that point, I would really rather pick something else

Well you have to pick something else if its is banned too. Im not saying its a good idea, but then banning champs is toxic too because I want to play Fizz (well.. not really tho on this patch xd)

I don't understand why people still ban Fizz. His tank build isn't really that great anymore, and he seems pretty balanced. Not to mention if people hate playing against him, there's always Galio

Probably because MSI and stuff. Afaik they dont even play on 7.9, which is where he already dropped pretty hard, not to mention the nerf in 7.10.

Disproportionately affects damage based champions. A normal ban is fine.
