Just a simple request for silver-gold junglers (and maybe higher elo ones?)

Get your kills early. That's cool. You need your power spikes and stuff, that's fine.

But once you get 2-3 kills early you gotta start handing that shit off to your laners. Like, sincere congratulations on being good enough to run around the map and murder folks at will for the first 10 minutes of the game. That's super great and helpful. But when the towers start falling and the grouping starts happening, a 9-0 vi isn't going to win the teamfight all by herself when all of her laners have no money.

You don't even have to change anything about your playstyle. Murder folks! By all means! Run around the map impacting lanes and doing gods work.

But just before you punch that poor overextended enemy laner in the face for the last time in their miserable lives -- look over and give your laner the bro nod.

Get up, and dust yourself off, and walk off into the sunset wearing sunglasses and lighting a cigarette as the inevitable explosion happens behind you....

.... slow mo.... real slow mo....

Please and thank you!

If your Vi killed enemies 9 times and you have "no money", it's entirely your fault.

9 out of 10 games are decided by jungle difference, if your jungler is doing great keeping enemies behind and you still can't capitalize on advantage you were given, you have noone to blame but yourself.

Kills are but one source of gold in the game, and not even the most plentiful.

well hey man, congratulations on never being in a game ever where your non-carry jungle is taking every kill and you're in a losing lane.

Happy for you.

Sorry but if your jungler is killing scrubs all over the map you have no excuse being "a losing lane", at very very worst if he never ganked your lane in particular you can swap lanes.

Dude if i'm playing an assassin, which i usually do since tanks are bad and you can assassinate anyone in this meta, i'm not letting you get any kill because i know 100% i can carry any game as Evelynn (unless people have no clue how to play with her in team).

If i kill your opponent you are still getting gold from assist and still getting exp advantage.

I had to stop playing Jarvan because i used to play him tank and give kills away and then watch my team waste the lead i gave to them sacrificing my exp and gold.

You could also become a better player at last hitting champions too.

an important thing to keep in mind is that this only applies in situations when the kill is so secure that you have little to no chance of losing it by trying to give it away to a particular person. Too many times I've seen people get away in situations that they shouldn't have because someone held back to give the other guy a kill, and when that happens, you're much worse off than you would have been even if the gold isn't being used 100% optimally.

sounds like you could use a change in adc players

Honestly, it depends. There are some junglers you actually want to take all the kills so they can essentially 1v5 the enemy team.

Looking at you, MasterYi

If they're GOOD, anyways.

God this x10.

Can't tell you the number of lost games I've had with a Rengar/Khazix/Vi/Lee/Mastery Yi ect junlge that's like 15/3/4.

Always seems to work out the same way. They go into the very last team fight overcocky, jump on the ADC drop off 2/3 of their HP, then eat a Poly/Morg Bind/cc of some kind then get 3 crit to death. Meanwhile on the other end of the fight the 5/7/13 ADC, the 8/6/14 Lux support, the 3/7/17 Anivia Mid, and the 2/6/11 Sion can't get past the double tank frontline due to not having Void/LW item, or the defenses to tank it.

Post game "Insert bursty AD jungle name here" GG fuk my team, too heavy." Of course the guy being on his 3rd elixir then throwing when the rest of team is sitting on 4 items had nothing to do with it. Or that fact most of his killing coming from clean-ups after he got finished with "just one more jungle camp" while your being 4 man dived. Or the fact they never bought a GA, QSS, Titanic, Sterak's ect but instead went for straight AD/Pen, or AS/on hit.

/facepalm.

This is actually true that even Dopa says this in his tips videos for this season. Until the start of midgame the jungler should outmove their jungler and get kills, but he should also allocate resources so his team will take over.

...Unless you are using Blue Kayn can close the game by splatting 3 carries with one rectangle of death.

Solutate Khaz3 votes

Lol no, you'll just walk from mid, all the way to bot lane cus you saw your enemy laner roam there instead of getting 2 free turrets, i don't give out ki8lls and i advise any good jungler to never give them out, it's soloq for a reason

So yes and no, as with almost all things.

Yes, you should distribute kills properly to the best candidate. If I'm Sej and Caitlyn could potentially get the kill then yes I want to give that to her.

Some situations you should give the kill in are...

The jungler is not a carry The jungler is already fed The jungler does not need to transition that power, (or use that gold to impact another heavily skewed lane like if top lane was 0/6)

You should never attempt to give a kill if...

It's not secure. Roams/counter-ganks are incoming. The laner is a tank. (Jungle tanks will always need it more) The amount of time it would take is over ~5 seconds, even if it could be secured.

Of course as I said earlier it's all about balance and knowing what to do in the situation. However, you never want to leave your jungle left out.

For instance if ganks and does 90% of the work and you get the kill, reward him with the CS remaining in the lane while you push the wave.

If you do 90% of the work and the jungle comes by swats the laner in the face and takes the kill, that's fine just ping him off the wave, junglers should respect that they just got the kill.

If it's 50/50 Doesn't matter who get's the get the kill, you share the wave.

Having basic respect like that for your laners/junglers is more powerful then abiding to any of the rules above. Doing it consistently will make your junglers love ganking for you and raise the morale of your team and efficiency of your gold distribution.

Yeah... nah, that's a FAT NO from me. I'll continue taking al the kills I can get. Killstealing is only a thing low elos believe in, a kill is a big advantage whoever it gets, and the biggest snowballing factor is EXP anyways so even if the laner doesn't even get an assist he's still got a big advantage after that gank.

Sidenote: Every time I play with low elo supports they always apologize when they get the kill, and I just wanna say, please stop. Seriously. Please just do your best to get each and every kill. If the ADC cries he's a fucking noob and you don't have to pay attention to that. It's so ridiculous how low elos value kills, I guess that's because they're too bad at farming and thus cannot take advantage of a dead enemy. If you wanna climb just take all the kills every game, or else they might get away and you invested time and resources for nothing which is the best way to stay hardstuck in whichever elo you are right now.

I have to disagree, especially in the Silver and Gold ranks. There's a high likelihood that your teammate will misplay and miss the kill. Much have rather have that kill secured. There are the 1% of the time chances where the enemy laner has no summs and are within auto attack range of your teammate and they are at 50 hp.....but that's the only situation where I'm not securing the kill.

BackdoorPrincess2 votes

Dude if your jungler is getting that many kills/pressure how the fuck are you not in a massive cs lead, let alone turret plating or objectives? Stop focusing on what you want from someone else and focus on what you should do. Vi killed your laner (with/without you?, not really clear on that) then you need to be exerting dominance and getting every cs possible. Waveclear for that turret plating, ping rift/dragon, secure scuttle, when he's back to lane zone exp/farm and freeze the lane, buy an extra vision ward with hopefully the money you got from an assist and give your jungler a reason to come back.

If your Vi is 9/0 then you guys should've annihilated enough towers/objectives to be leagues ahead, even without you getting the kills

This so much.

Yes and no.

The problem with over fed junglers in low elo is they ends up dying 1 for 1 and call it worth because they think what is left of their team should clean up.

It's not going to happen.

If you decide to take all the gold available on the map as a jungler it's fine, just be aware that :

  • You now HAVE to carry, alone, you gathered a great power with all these kills, now comes the great responsability
  • Your life is worth more than one or two people on the opposing team, so go for the kill if you can take 3 out or if you can safely get out after your dive.

If you are playing with such a jungler, recognize this and try to save him by all means, engage for him, follow him on his engage, he's litteraly your only chance to victory, do not let him die.

I agree that sharing the kills is better, but giving a kill to your 0-10 adc worth 100 gold will just reset his bounty and do no good since the ennemy os him before he even get to land a spell or an auto.

Give the kills to the deserving people.
