No attack speed steroid, extremely short range, and no aoe damage. And in order to get her %max hp true damage, she needs to hit you 3 times in a row. Plenty of time to focus her down before she does any significant damage. Good luck catching a Jinx or a Kog'maw with their extreme safety.

Vayne basically has the best self-peel tools of any ADC, and I'd honestly say she's in a fine spot since she can approach a surprising amount of situations other ADCs can't and come out on top. Maybe you're just not realising her for her strengths?
Another thing to note, you say Jinx and Kogmaw are safe because they have a slow and a delayed-placement snare? You WHAT, Vayne's ultimate gives her enough mobility to run down three quarters of an entire lane!

Back before the big marksman update, Vayne was a pretty decent ADC when played correctly. She was never considered "absurd" though and I don't remember her ever being the top ADC in the game or even close to it.
The stats don't lie, she's been at close to the bottom all season in terms of winrate, damage, etc. Being that the people who play her average the most games on her (#1 among ADCS), this is a sign she is not in a viable state. She can't compete early at all but now she also has lost her late game edge to ADCs who can scale with her but also have better range and tools to keep them safe.

For such a champion with such a high average player base average i think its more that Vayne as a champion is just way to bad early game. That she just sucks because her kit is prone to feeding easily early game and the enemy laner snowballing hard against her.

Nah I disagree, her design is fine and bad early is one of the few intended weaknesses for a champion that Riot actually goes through with upholding. If tanks weren't fucked this season by keystones she would be in a much more favorable spot, and buffing her early game will make her fucking ridiculous when tanks DO come back.

Vayne has a lot of damage built into her kit.
A Vayne with a build like this still has great DPS to shred through just about anyone, but isn't as easy to pin down and pop like a pimple.

sure, because despite your incredibly high damage you die if a gentle breeze blows by.
Vayne is very hard to deal with late game if she builds more defense than is typical for an ADC and takes warlord's bloodlust (fuck fervor).
