Are advanced Caitlyn mechanics here to stay? If so, why did Nidalee's resets have to be removed?

Here's the vid by xFSN Saber displaying some of the Caitlyn's mechanics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LltNhgr2IC4

I'm positive that vast majority of the players who pick Cait don't do any of this stuff or probably don't even know you can do it. Yet, it's still in the game, it's something cool that only advanced players can do.

A while back Nidalee had a few similar tricks, like resetting her AA by pouncing and changing her forms, but Riot removed those mechanics saying that since only a small percentage of players can do them and benefit from them, they will have to balance her around the fact that you have to know how to make use of those mechanics.

Where's the consistency?

Speaking of BS mechanics...

Why can Tristana queue up a basic attack after pressing R on someone?

Other champions have lost the ability in the past to queue up basic attacks while they are knocking someone back, so why is she allowed to keep the ability to do so?

It was because it was something that was being used constantly in pro play, which meant that nidalee had to be constantly nerfed because pro players got far better clear speeds and all ins on her than non pro players.

Basically the issue was the consistency of it. Nidalees was very easy to do, and do consistently so long as you knew how to. I am not a super mechanical player and even I could do it in the jg to speed up my clear, although I wasn't great at using it in actual fights.

because 1 autoattack is OP. lmao. riot nerfing mechanics and making champions clunky since s7.

Everything that is not described in tooltip... is called exploit to me and any exploit along with animation cancelling (/cough Riven) should be fixed.

didn't even know you could do this. probably borderline bug abuse.

In League, exploiting the game's hilariously bad coding is called "mechanics". "Mechanics" are everywhere in this game because the entire game is full of oversights and shit code that allow shit to happen and be consistently abused.

What a joke.

caitlyn isn't nidalee and mechanics on different champions have different effective power levels

I think it has something to do about the kits. Nidalee's kit is very either all in or poke oriented in an early game sense which can make her quite oppressive (Good jungle Nidalee that could use this cleared fast and had tons of damage when ganking) while in this case it is reliant on if you can hit multiple abilities(both w trap and e net) and know the timing.

Though I do think it was cool to see champions with an extra layer of hidden depth and I think it is pretty unfun when they remove mechanics like that and still put them on new champions, looking at you Sylas...
