Why do we get punished for not banning someone?

What if I don't want to ban anyone? We were never punished for this before. Why are we being punished for it now?

because if you don't ban anyone you aren't going through the process correctly and are given power to troll your team if they really want or need something banned.

if you don't want to ban something, go play another game, guarantee you league won't force you to ban a champion while you're playing neopets.

who cares about banning in normals? a lot of the time i just ban shit champs that nobody is ever going to play anyways (yorick galio shaco whatever) so that i can learn how to adapt to the op champs right now. in ranked obviously i'll ban mundo and whatever else but in normals i would rather have to deal with them and get to learn how to counterplay

i don't even care if he's weak, op, or balanced according to patch notes, i just think he's fucking annoying and i'm tired of him lol. unless i'm the one laning against him, he always ends up getting fed.

I like to use varus as my mundo counter lol it works . his e has grievous woynds. So if he hits I cast it on my self stand there and kill him lol . cause most mundos will ult and chase you. I mean if I ran I would die if I stay and fight him he will die more often than not

i main shyvana so he's really not that big of an issue honestly i just know that if i'm not the one dealing with him he's gonna get fed. it happens every time. like, as shyvana, with bork & e that does %max health damage, and taking ignite to deal with his ult, mundo gets absolutely fucked. but EVERY TIME it's someone else dealing with him, he gets fed and turns into a fucking raid boss

The point of draft pick is to get rid of the bullshit op and annoying champs. If you don't mind playing against them, play blind pick.

I agree. You shouldn't have to ban anyone if you don't want to. It's always been optional, and there are valid tactical reasons for deciding not to ban at all.

why would you not ban something? i mean there are always strong champs that you could ban, or just ban champions you don't like dealing with/laning against.

its called strategy, it forces the enemy team to be very careful with there bans and lets liek several hyper carry champs stay open like mumu (who literally wins every game im in ) annie another self carry champ xin who is bs strong late game so on and so fourth

Honestly its stupid. It's a limiting factor. There have been times I want to not ban anyone, cause I have a counter to thier pick. but then when waiting, WE just get shoved out, for thinking deeply? I don't want to ban yi every game, if I have a plan if he's picked. -_-
