Nasus can cut through tanks like paper now GJ Riot

I camped Nasus top as Zac... he was 1/7 for the first 20 minutes.

He came back 10 minutes later and cut through an almost full build Zac the way Talon cuts through mid lane squsihy champions.... there is no way he was intended to do this well against full build tanks....

well, he kind of was meant to counter tanks. his passive lets him sustain their miniscule harass and his armor reduction was meant to deal with them. take a fighter into his lane and suddenly he can't do anything because they do more damage than him.

dunno it feels like he's becoming the doge he was always meant to be.

It goes well beyond what you're saying here.

If you're playing a tank, a fighter or an assassin you can't even go anywhere near Nasus post 15 minutes. He has comparable raw DPS to an ADC building straight crit right now and other melees don't have options against him because he just mows them down like an ADC on crack if they even step close to him.

You can say shut him off CS all you want, but with his Q DPS being more than doubled VS tanks and bruisers this patch all he has to do is scrap together 250 stacks and he'll be able to kill you, god forbid he gets up to any number higher than that because he'll rip through you as if you were a squishy.

Nasus now has the exact same problem as Cho'gath, he makes melees useless just by existing. Sure his dive's subpar but that doesn't even matter because him existing basically means that you get to free kill the enemy frontline.

Nasus is creating a situation where the only counter to him once he reaches moderate levels of farm is "be ranged". He leaves melees no options. You can try to dive his team and watch as he mows down your team or you can try to stop him and watch as he mows down you. The worst part is that almost every time Nasus has been viable he's created this exact scenario. The only exception was S3 jungle-Wither Nasus, but that was a whole different thing. Riot's just never learned their lesson on Nasus, he can't be allowed to be strong because all he is is a stat stick who when strong can utterly invalidate melee champs.

I'd also say that for any champ who's lane is auto win VS x auto lose VS y they should just be nerfed to the point where they lose to both x and y. Clearly that champion is the most extreme and raw case of a statcheck where their lane just deteriorates to a series of hard counters on both sides. Champs like this are abysmal for game health.

the whole "shits on melee" aspect is a hallmark of the juggernauts, which I believe nasus falls under. like you wouldn't go in on an illaoi without proper lube would you? it's just not a thing you do. but the reason I say fighters is they can go in, and they can also go out. his wither doesn't bother them cuz dashes and especially the ones with resets like irelia and fiora, they're usually tanky enough or have some innate sustain to match him in trades and have some kind of cc to keep him around while the team collapses around him, and have good dps so if he's not ahead they can take him out with some difficulty. also yeah, you kinda do need teams to take out a nasus no matter what point in the game, like most top laners they have good base damages and with tank they're like raid bosses and you gotta take a team up to take them out. I actually struggle way harder against him in the early game, even with his biggest counters like olaf my first fights I go quite even with him. the literal only reason he's considered to have a "bad" early game is because his q forces him to use up mana and time attacking minions rather than enemies. often my favorite pick against him is shen or maybe jax. one because they can dominate him early if he's really bad and plays around their aa dodges. two they both scale really well into the lategame, have just as good as if not better split pushing than him and also can be useful in teamfights with their mobility and cc. I don't try to beat the nasus himself, I just become a more useful member of the team than he could hope to be with his incredibly binary kit.

This is one of the most biased and fact-less posts I've read in a while.

Juggernauts like Nasus are supposed to be Tank killers and duelers. Darius and Garen both have True Damage and % Shred naturally build into their kits. Darius's is a passive he gets for free, meaning no mana costs, and Garen get's his in his spin and again he has no mana costs just cool downs. They excel at dueling and Assassins are not to counter them, rather ranged carries or fighters with true damage and mobility. Nasus in no way has comparable DPS to a ranged carry. He does not have 2.5 PS AS even with the Q CDR on his ult which last a paltry 15 seconds. All you have to do is not fight him in his ult, CC him and kite back.

Nasus will eventually scale there is no doubt about that. It is what he was designed to do. He excels in small skirmishes or splitting but fairs poorly vs heavy CC comps and team fight comps. A squishy will need 115 armor for him to have comparable shred on his E with the new change. Nasus and other juggernauts will always be good at killing anyone 1v1.

Nasus does not make Melee's useless and Cho Gath is whole other problem. He has % health shred on his E and it slows per each strike. He has a knock up that slows, a silence and atrue damage % missing health nuke ult. Nasus is single target while Cho essentially destroy an entire team solo being massively tanky with just his passive and feast and doing insane amounts of damage with just a ROA. His sustain is also much better than Nasus as he get mana back as well as health. These two champion are hardly comparable. Fiora, Darius, Garen, Jax, Olaf, Shen and many others scale just as well as Nasus and can easily duel him. A single executioners can invalidate a huge portion of Nasus's ability to resist anyone in the game.

Saying Nasus is a stat stick is irrelevant. Every champion is a stat stick if you are going to arbitrarily use that as an argument. They are either AD stat sticks, AP stat sticks or health and resistance stat sticks. This is not an argument it's a fact of every champion.

If Nasus was such an auto win why does he not have a better solo queue win rate? Why does he see no professional play? Your entire post is based on your emotional dislike for a champion and nothing to do with evidence or fact that is just purely anecdotal or opinion.

But Nasus' changes "aren't going to do anything to him" according to every person that didn't listen to me after the changes went to PBE. Now they are scared of Nasus because his shoves his stick up their butts without lube.

I'm just waiting for people to notice what riot let slip into the buffs, which will probably get him nerfed.
