... has anybody, at any point, ever seen this mastery hit more than 1 target?

No, I haven't. Either the range is actually really low or the particle does not show up on multiple people, because I've never seen it hurt more than 1 enemy.

iamleburk1 votes

Im pretty sure its bug that only one person actually gets the mastery per game

Sire Hippington52 votes

the question is, is that because the aoe is to small, or is the visual feedback just shit?

Or both

I very rarely, if at all, see it proc on more than one person. In fact, I swear it flat-out doesn't do anything because the damage is so dreadful for a 30s CD. In a world where Warlord's Bloodfury is allowed to have a 4s CD AND proc on everything, this is flat-out useless.

Delioth7 votes

That was hotfixed. Warlord's Bloodlust only procs on crits on champions now.

It's still stupidly powerful regardless of what it procs on.

No, it just means tryndamere can't sit in lane and have infinite sustain on minions with no lifesteal items, With regards to the post at hand, Thunderlord's Decree does hit many enemies around them with the AOE. Its range is just really short (I believe it to be similar to tiamat / hydra range)

Redaga1 votes

but it means yasuo get AA, Q and R heal cause he can max out Critic with 2 items

Yosuke Apperu1 votes

It also means that tryndamere wins any melee trade that he won before even harder due to him double critting all the time lol

Wimbledofy5 votes

Double critting? Tryndameres crits haven't been changed. Do you mean double lifestealing?

Troll for Trump2 votes

Tiamat/Hydra has a pretty large aoe radius. It covers all the minions when they are bunched up as they fight the opposing minionwave, not to mention how visible it is.

LordGeovanni1 votes

i mean he can cause he still has his q but i get what you trying to say

Yeah but that world is coming to an end pretty soon; Riot already said they're nerfing Warlord's to only proc against champions and buffing Thunderlord's to only have a 20-second cooldown.

LordGeovanni1 votes

warlords blood lust still needs a longer cooldown ranger carries and crit carries are safe in that they have range and are supposed to delete a character before they can input anything significant into a fight why in addition to that and the healing they already build do they need more with more attack speed on such a low cooldown while melee characters who dont build crit can only hit thier mastery once every 30 seconds and that is after they catch them if they can

I think you mean assassins. ADC deal in DPS. And honestly, I expect Fervor of Battle is likely to be the more used Keystone. With shorter matches you've less time when Warlords will be useful.

LordGeovanni1 votes

dps over .5-2 seconds should be considered burst

Kuroi861 votes

No it shouldn't, if that were the case everything in the game would be considered burst. And no you can't use the crit excuse anymore. AD has gone down and games don't last long enough to get more than two to three items which means around 50% crit unless you're Yasuo or Tryndamere

Other than a small damage boost for my blitz support, nope i don't notice it hitting anyone else... If anything this mastery needs a buff. When u compare it to the other keystones, this one just seems undertuned.

Vincent Lucius2 votes

No. Don't buff it. It's actually really strong on three hit combo mages and it usually lets me delete squishy people as lux with her combo while taking care of whatever health they might have gotten away with. Also if I recall it scales with your AD/AP, so if you're playing support it wouldn't make a huge difference unless you built full damage.

SH Azykan13 votes

the base damage on thunderlords is better than its scalings by far

Dominick Destine3 votes

That's actually a really good question.

I use it 100% of the time on Evelynn which I main... I have never seen it affect more than one target.

Ligerzz3 votes

Maybe it should do a small, blue version of ravenous hydra's cleave to show the AoE.

Mr Broken Wings2 votes

yes

Catastrop2 votes

A few times.

Owltears2 votes

I've never seen it proc, I've had it on my blitz did the wombo combo, nothing.

NegusInParis8 votes

I think there was a bug where only 1 thunderlord's decree worked if more than one picked the mastery. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ariel the Cruel2 votes

THere's also that lingering bug where only 1 person can actually use it in game.

morris12 votes

This mastery is currently pretty flawed in general. It has more bugs than Azir had in an entire year.

Auz the Ripper2 votes

Azir could kill other player's abilities with his ult and get gold for it

No, the new masteries are not that buggy

Ipols1 votes

not that much bro, Azir had 40+ bugfixes

TwoD2 votes

Even that guy looks confused

"deals Magic damage to enemies in the area"... as long as that area is a point located at the center of Teemo's hitbox.

Redaga1 votes

I main Xerath, and have this KS (I do hate the tree it is on) so I keep seeing a lot the thunder animation, but I have never measured the damage on the area (dont have time for that)

problems like this is why riot should build a sandbox mode so people can freely taste(test* lol) things at the content of their heart

Zyorhist3 votes

I don't want to pick on you, it seems you are doing your best, but this is amazing. I don't like to taste my things in the sandbox.

DoYoHomewerk1 votes

Is the damage from the explosion/hit even strong? It's does 10 damage plus 10% percent AP doesn't it?

It's 10xLvl, so at Lvl 18 it's 180 damage + 10% AP.

Lucifer1 votes

It's currently giving 20% AP. Tooltip says 10% though.

Knalxz1 votes

You couldn't find a higher res image? I thought I had my glasses off for a second there.

peachplumpear1 votes

Yes but rarely. Usually only if my ult procs it on Orianna since they will be in a close area anyways if that happens.

ZephyrDrake1 votes

i'm fairly sure that the range is similar to Ryze's bouncing thing... aka don't expect it to hit more than one person ever unless they are all group like morons

Eeyore1 votes

Are people sure it doesn't just damage champions?

Lady Hammerlock1 votes

i watched my support 1 vs 1 jinx with it

J Eevo1 votes

Pretty sure the range is low enough that it'll only hit 2 opponents if the second one is a Lee sin that safeguarded the first one (since it places them on the same spot for a brief moment)

DaedricTerror131 votes

Why would you use this over Deathfire Touch?

Its worse in every way, from scaling to cooldown, wtf?

Actually the base dmge of deathfire is 6 all game and dmge is halved on aoe spells. TLD already does a whoping base dmge of 60 at lvl 6. thats dmge equivalent of an old bf sword. this pre season meta is fast paced and relies on early snowballing where TLD is way better. DF pays off much later on in the game when you have ALOT more ap and still the dmg is halved on aoe. in result you would only take DF on hard scaling single target mages such as veigar or anivia

OverpoweredSoap1 votes

That's because the aoe size is slightly bigger than karthus' Q.

Mooing Kev1 votes

other than its rather long cd this mastery is really underrated even if its aoe is non existant. it adds so much to burst rotation champs and is just way better for early game snowballing compared to the deathfire mastery. deathfire needs a small buff, it does 1-5 dmge a tick for thr first levels which is pretty pathetic for a keystone mastery.

Death by Glamour1 votes

No, but i actually pref this over deathfire touch. Seems to actually do damage

Pryotra1 votes

I have... once.

One of the first games this season was using this mastery on the donger. I would auto proc it with my W alone assuming it was off of cooldown. The range is incredibly tiny, and they basically have to be in the middle of a very intimate moment for it to hit more than one target, but the added burst is OK.

Still not worth it over the DoT on Heim, and will be until it loses the dumb 30s cooldown. Make it like 7.5 seconds or so and it might be worth picking up on some champions.
